Sometimes the autopilot will start acting up and just go full left or right aileron when engaged. This can happen regardless of heading mode being on or off, and regardless of which LNAV mode is selected (e.g. hdg, nav, loc, etc). It usually starts working again after a minute or so, but no amount of fiddling (switching AP switches on/off, adjusting nav mode, etc) would fix it.
I had AP enabled and working fine and I switched from HDG to NAV. It suddenly went nuts and started banking at 50-60 degree rolls. No amount of tweaking could fix it and since I was at the middle of a 3-hour VATSIM/OnAir flight I had to fly the rest by hand. Very frustrating, not to mention the crazy rolls caused me to lose 11% of OnAir reputation (ie. about 10 trips worth of reputation).
Since the issue has been reported to JF and it seems to be experienced by a few users, I hope it gets fixed soon.
