This issue is the reason i had to reset my career. Came back the next day to find my planes damaged enough i couldnt fly them and no money left to pay for repairs. It was only 2x 172’s but still annoying since i had already payed for and passed all of my certifications.

Yes I have the same issue and I’m using cheaper insurance not even the premium insurance. Plus it is putting 25% tear on the plane so Mx cost will be losing even more. On top of that I cannot sell any of the planes since I’m just losing money atleast let me sell them and make money flying myself. The career needs tuning in a ton of areas.
Same here. Owning more than one plane is pointless. I have 3 planes, one Cessna 172 is/supposed to fly cargo and one for VIPs. On 6 hours of gameplay/heavy grind, I checked passive income and what a surprise. 25k on cargo and 25 on VIP. Insurance bill 200k. I won’t even think about what I will pay for bigger aircraft if I own more than 2. At this moment owning second company is game killer as to get profit with each extra plane I have to fly extra just for insurance.
This is a game-breaking bug. We need the fix NOW. We can lose all our careers. I am afraid to keep playing to avoid increasing bills.

Career mode is basically broken for me at this point. There is little to no incentive to play the career mode when I’m loosing 300k+ credits per day, even when I’m not flying. This bug needs to be recognized so that it can be fixed with patch 3.

I stopped playing a week ago and only checked yesterday to see their patch didn’t actually solve anything but the CTD
A quick reminder to everyone: sell all your planes in order to stop losing money. If you keep any plane in your companies, you’ll lose all money sooner or later.
Also: selling your last plane can only be done by completing an employee mission that ends at a different airport. Your pilot can’t be at the same airport as your last plane or else the game will give an error message when you try to sell it.

I am not loosing money after i switched the insurance back to basic, but also not really making any money. i wonder which mission the AI crew does in 3mins.
Currently, I have no interest in selling my aircraft as a temporary solution. Isn’t it likely that the same problem will reoccur as the new aircraft accumulates flight hours? I prefer to avoid career mode until the issues are addressed, ideally with patch 3.
Even if you avoid Career Mode and don’t fly, if you already have flight hours on your aircraft, insurance will keep being deducted every day according to the amount of those hours. That’s why I sold every aircraft and avoid Career Mode as well. 
I currently have abount 600,000 Cr and I don’t intend to lose it. I’ll continue when this is fixed.

I have the same issues but now i have found that even with running my own company my earnings for a flight are the same as if i was a employee

I just tested and it seems like now we can’t see at all what the freelancer page pays until it’s completed. The correct pay used to be seen after the mission was accepted, but now it just shows the same employer pay as in the main mission page.
I just did a test mission. It kept showing the employer pay of about 5k in all pages, but when I completed the mission, I was paid about 130k.
Whatever the case, this is definitely not fixed:
- Freelance mission rewards are now correctly displayed on the world map and in the briefing.
My understanding was that since this is under the " Effective after the next update" heading, this one and the wind gusts won’t be fixed until the patch drops later in the week
Might just sell my other two planes until then, then. One was then was an absolute money pits anyways. I’m grinding for a Twinstar on the charter missions, that plane is sooo nice
I can confirm that this issue has been fixed now 
Furthermore, changing insurance plan is working too now.
atfer new patch today, i get from 1 plane cargo company, -33k passive income for a 2,5h fleight…
that real a fantastic “fixed” bug,… so we going to 0 cash for that in future?
Same for me, got -46k today…
After patch no passive income at all. But got 50 aircraft on crew and and did round about 13h on one day. But at least the flight hours where added to all aircraft incl. wear.
I cannot say how much I like it…
