So far within a month 2 outages. Whether convenient or inconvenient is irrelevant. In the last outage I wondered how many times this is going to happen.
Now, I have to wonder why these outage topics are being closed as fast as possible!
Should we not have a discussion about this gigantic black cloud hanging over us? This new cloud stuff is all new to flight simmers and outages are no less of a black plague than CTD or that dreaded OOM. If this outage stuff is going to be a new plague to hit whenever, MSFS will become less useful than a sim that does not require servers to even start the sim!
So will this community require the MSFS team to get MSFS out from under this black cloud (like they screamed for VR), or will this community do what it always has done: just be patient, wait, tolerate a new plague, live with major blunders, or whatever else it can do to be a doormat?
But, to have to ‘press a key to continue’…that is sacrilege against all that is holy!!
They have not been closed, they have been consolidated. If every post was left open there would be nothing but a bunch of one post “threads”. If you want to discuss the outages. Feel free but lets not spam the forum. Utilize one of the active threads.
This has very little at all to do with Asobo or, really, the Microsoft team directly involved with the simulator. This is an issue to bring up on the official Xbox support forum. If there are outages the team will be sure to notify everyone as done today and previously, however the deeper discussion of the server outages is not relevant to the simulator itself.
