for those for whom the colors are too “dull” like for me a little bit too much of the “grey tone”
I`m using Lumasharpen and color correction - for me it’s without loss of performance !
Already tried various color corrections using freestyle but ended with turning it off. IMO the artists did a perfect job at recreating the atmospheric lighting. One other reason is that the weather engine is so dynamic, it might give you deep blue hues in one scene and dull grey tone in the other. Its the way the light keeps scattering based on weather conditions that you can’t really have static reshade filters for it.
In your specific screens, the tweaked version already looks ‘gamey’ to me. Yes it looks good because it has that ‘pop’ in colors but the overall scene doesn’t feel realistic.
yes, it’s not mainly for the lighting - in the end use only the lumasharp. I’m also interested in the textures on the ground - and they are just too “grey” for midsummer ! it was only meant as an example !
Looks too bluish, color degradation, and the color temperature is too cold. Those brownish greens that are default in the one pic looks about right for that time of day and weather. No shaders needed. Make monitor temperature warm or normal 6500k
For that to happen we would need access to the MSFS shaders where you would be able to adjust many settings individually, as we did in P3D with tools like PTA/Tomatoshade.
Now our opitons are screen wide using NVidia freestlye or Reshade (steam version only).
If you press ALT+Z, click the settings cog and scroll down to “Photo mode / game filter” make sure its ticked it should always be on. Thats the theory anyway, then try to open game.
