I wouldnt hold my breath. In game I have around 400 hours, but in steam I have 1500+ hours, my log book got lost twice. It aint coming back. If it means that much to you, grab a copy of littlenavmap, and and track your hours with it.

After installing latest update world update 7 **1.20.13 steam ver my flight hours in cessna 172 has gone
now I have 0 flight hour in every cessna aircraft I choose ,just to confirm before update 7 I had 120 hour in cessna ,I didn’t logout from the game this time like I did before when all my hours has gone from game log book I am so angry for this bug Asobo please fix this!!! or anyone who know how I can edit my hours in cessna please let me know how to do this.
Maybe there is a way to manual change some file and add some hours to the plane we want.
my steam show 1500h total in game and fs2020 keep deleting my flight log every time I log out from the game. please help me to resolve this issue before I go mental completely !
Search the forums, someone had a way to supposedly restore them, dont know if it works or not. I was closing in on a hundred in-game (in steam Im almost at 2000) the update hit and Im at 60 now *which is the hours steam says Ive played in the last 2 weeks.
This bug has been going on forever and ever. Apparently its not that important, or hey maybe its just impossible to fix for them.
I never recevied the message “package out of date” but all my recent bush trips in Norway have been stored in the logbook with ZERO flight time.
Is there any way to fix this issue?

We saw what you did last night and here at the FAA we dont take that kind of non-sense seriously. HAHAHA…
2250+ hours in sim according to Steam, game thinks Im back to 25 hours…ROFL!!! again.
Did either of you get any messages about the sim being offline? Any kind of pop up on screen that required input for it to go away?
The 1st time was during a sever outage of some sort think it was an Xbox issue (but I dont use an Xbox), but after that it just randomly resets my hours and Im back to right now I think its 65 in sim, and 2280 in Steam.
The same thing happened to me as well last night I had over 800hours of flight time. all setting back to default it was like I just bought the game. I tried about everything to get it all back again. Then what worked for me was that I went to system restore in windows and I put it back to my last system backup date. Now everything is back again. profile settings hours etc.

This happened to me quite some time ago and I lost about 1250 hours and all my flight logs disappeared too.
Currently I am back up to 1658 hours. Hopefully this sort of BS won’t happen again.

After SU8 my flighttime is still missing, but the ‘completionst’ and ‘jack of all planes’ achievement are back. Oh my, after nearly a year, I’m getting a little sentimental now.

Just did the 40th Anniversary update. I used to have over 700 hours logged on Xbox, now they are all gone

Just installed the 40th anniversary edition upgrade and both my pc and Xbox series x would not load the game. Kept crashing to desktop. Just found out that it has corrupted my cloud profile so had to delete it , now starting from scratch, no hours no achievements nothing. GREAT

So it’s Sept 2023, and I am experiencing this issue. My father shares the game with me and a few days ago he was complaining about Xbox control overlay during load screen, thought his controls got messed up. I didn’t think much of it, figured it was probably a slide rotation kinda of thing. However during update of su13, I noticed my profile showing 0 hours! I was 20 hours from hitting 300! I don5 know if my pop saw any messages, I didn’t see any during my flights, so I don’t know what happened. I guess game thinks I’m a newbie and showing me Xbox pad control overlay tips? Btw my pop plays on pc, while i like to play on my xbox, so no steam version here.

I also had a problem with my logbook after the update. After a 2 hour flight I went to look at my logbook to see if it recorded. It said no entries and all 900+ hours were gone. I clicked on the screen a couple of times and everything came back. No idea what was going on but it seems to be OK now.
Xbox control pops up in my game. Xbox control overlay during load screen, but after the last update. I noticed my profile showing 0 hours.
