One issue with labelling sounds “good’ or ‘bad’, apart for the fact it’s purely subjective, is that 99 out of 100 people are comparing sounds in MSFS/PMDG either to a YT video with an unknown level of audio editing/post-production, or with what they’ve experienced sitting in seat 65G.
I can assure you the aircraft sounds completely different from the flight deck than it does halfway down the cabin, but regardless of this, people will argue till they’re blue in the face for what they want, regardless of whether it’s actually accurate.
The 777 sounds underwhelming from the cockpit IRL. That’s the truth that people don’t like to hear.
