A few moments ago we pushed an update to the PMDG DC-6 Cloudmaster for MSFS. This update is very small but is focused on ensuring the DC-6 is up-to-date with the latest changes in the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform.
We are in the process of resubmitting the DC-6 to Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace with a version compatible with both the PC and Xbox, as it was originally envisioned back in 2021.
That did not mean the update scheduled for 30MAR2023 was going to include the return to Xbox.
Argh! I knew not to get my hopes up!
Also recognize that it will probably take a couple updates to get it working properly. They canāt test it on Xbox until itās released by the Marketplace since itās highly likely they donāt have developers access to the Xbox server backend or development area (only big houses get that).
Maybe, but the other recently released WASM aircraft, such as the Milviz/Blackbird ones have shown to be working. For that matter, the original DC-6 for Xbox is working well, according to those that never deleted it.

Iāve got instrumentation working right now. Did you power on the Inverters?
Liveries are going to be a separate download. They want to provide all the liveries for Xbox that PC users have access to.
Iām about to taxi and fly after these radials finish warming up.

Is anything tested here? Nothing works here gust lock everything canāt be operated shouldnāt I be able to pick it up and just look at the beautiful one?

Iām locked onto a VOR and Iām on my way here.This aircraft absolutely works and it is smooth and the graphics looks awesome on my 4K display vs. my PCās 1080p display.

you purchased it on Xbox ?
I bought on PC back when it came out and never got to try it on my Xbox. I just downloaded it from the Content Manager today on my Series X and Iām up and away.

ok i can fly now too, these are all display errors for me that nothing moves in the cockpit instruments and switches, the flight engineer doesnāt work either!
Sounds like youāve got an issue with the WASM add-on. Have you tried deleting and re-downloading it (and maybe the DC-6, too, after the WASM module has been done)?
Oh dam I have purchased the DC 6 on Xbox x not tested yet Iām studying first going fly tomorrow so is this aircraft working correctly or not?
Itās totally working for me. Iām currently at FL160, tracking a VOR and in bliss.

Yes. The GNS 430 works great. If youāre going to pick this up, definitely watch the videos Rob at PMDG put together. They are excellent.
There is a lot to learn and unpack here.

They will be imported automatically as any other GNS 430 equipped aircraft.
There is an option to switch the radios to fully analog Bendix NAVs w/ ADF, if so desired, too.

The one plane Iāve been looking forward to ahead of the 737ās and every time I go to purchase it, it fails to complete the purchase. Iām about to pull out what little hair I have left lol.
