did you follow the exact procedure given in the link?
We have checked the zip file before publishing it and there is no detection from defender.

NEW GTN 750 RELEASE V2.1.57
- Preparing the code for the future WT switching GPS feature.
IMPORTANT
Microsoft changed its virus detection table on December 4th causing a case of false detection in our 2.1.5 GTN750 package. We assure you that the code does not contain any virus and that it is indeed a case of false detection. Only windows defender detects it.
Because of this windows defender issue, it is necessary to update your package to 2.1.56.

WTT Mode V2
We have modified the WTT mode by using a newer version of the WT engine.
The older engine continues to work.
To use this new WTT version, be sure to have the latest GTN750 version (currently 2.1.58) and update the WTT package for your aircraft.
You can find the WTT additional packages in this page (second section): Aircraft
If you have installed a beta v2 WTT package, remove it before.
Itās recommended to use WTT mode when available for your aircraft.

I just updated the PMS GTN 750, have the WTT pack updated too for the Analogue King Air, and the PMS fix as well. Now I canāt change the cockpit instruments in the Analogue King Air, Iām stuck on the 1 750 with no 530, if I try to change it with the switches the model show up for a second then switches back.
Anyone seen anything like this ? When the 530 shows up for a second itās screen is full white.
This is a normal and documented situation in WTT mode.
We disable any other GPS in the cokpit beacuse they are not compatible.
This could change with the upcoming WT GNS530 and new switching mechanism.

Yep, sorry, I seen the description in the documentation just the last sentence escaped me.
NEW GTN 750 RELEASE V2.1.59
- New GPS switching mechanism (same as Working Title). The old one keeps working for compatibility but will be deprecated in the future.
- Adding ATC flight plan import feature.
- The system status page displays 3 values for WTT mode: āNoneā, āExternalā and āInternalā. External means connected to an external WT instrument (ex GNS530 or G1000Nxi). The internal mode uses our internal WT engine.
- bugfix: WTT mode: importing a flight plan with many waypoints could freeze the sim for a few seconds.
- bugfix: WTT mode: VCALC calculation may be wrong when the target waypoint is part of the approach and the approach is not activated.
- WTT mode: v2 is now released. This requires updating the WTT additional packages for your aircraft.
- WTT mode: automatic ATC synchronization (no manual button needed anymore). Only with WTT v2.
- integration: the embedded integration is not available anymore.

I had something strange happen to me yesterday still with 2.1.58 (fingers crossed that this is fixed in 59)
I was flying the JustFlight Turbo Arrow with the GTN.
I started the flight with just a starting location no destination. (KMTN)
When I added the departure and destination in the GPS, I was unable to add enroute waypoints. I searched for the name, clicked and nothing happened. Also the screen started acting up and not rendering parts of the screen (black parts until I moved the mouse over)
I restarted with a flight plan created in the MSFS menu and flown it.
When I was getting to my destination (small airfield 7PA3 with no procedures *I have navigraph *) I tried to add a visual on runway 36 at 7PA3 when I clicked load approach nothing happened, I repeated several time. Then I tried load&activate. It worked but something went really bad. On the GPS screen every object started to multiply and my FPS started to go down drastically (landed with 14 fps, started from 60) If I did not exit my sim would have crashed. Something broke with the refresh of the screen.
(Navigraph might have something to do with it because while the airport exists in game, on their charts program it does not exists. Visually it is on their VFR map but canāt search for it or add it as destination 7PA3)
It was late night so I had no time to investigate, I will write If I can reproduce this.
Windows 10 Nvidia 3080 , DX12 mode, the new Asobo instrument rendering is on (itās name escapes me right now)

Anyway, your issue probably comes because you have the new WT GNS530 running in the background.
It is still in beta and we may have some issues with it.
As a temporary workaround, you have 2 solutions.
- Set your origin and destination on the world map.
- Go to the GTN750 flight plan page menu, press import, and choose āimport from sim ATCā.

Ah no need for support, I realize the WT beta messes with things (yes I have it installed), just wanted to share what happened, it might be useful info catching some rare bug.

- bugfix: GPS switching: the GTN750 may fail to power on in case of flight restart.
- bugfix: when used with the WT GNS530 as an external WT engine, the flight plan may be corrupted if no destination is entered in the world map.
- bugfix: wrong VCALC time to descent value.
- VCALC: if the target waypoint is part of the approach and the approach is not activated and you are flying the leg to the airport, VCALC is calculating as if you did a direct TO the target waypoint (the one defined in VCALC).

Keep getting a Trojan threat when downloading.
Iām also getting a āTrojan detectedā warning from Windows Defender with the latest virus definitions installed: Trojan:Script/Ulthar.A!ml
Just an FYI - i use ESET and dont get warnings.

That doesnāt sound too good to be honest - Iād rather have a false positive than a positive Trojan.
Check your defender version, update it and follow the procedure given here: Mandatory update.
We got false positive detection in the past but not for this file.
Tested on defender 1.381.474.0
