Just completed almost an hour flying around Amsterdam City and EHAM in the FlyInside 206B3. Performance was very good with zero stutters. Very impressed with the city and the airport is up there with the best default, handcrafted airports
Flying with 24 hour live weather and traffic, multiplayer on and LiveTrackLog running (remembered to start it for once).
Started in daylight and finished with a few minutes of night flying around the airport. Mainly kept below 500’ and below 100 kts.
Thanks Asobo/ Microsoft for this free update ( i was waiting for this one)
I love this update, finally extended tin / photogrammatry for the Netherlands and Belgium compared to ugly generated houses
I finally recognized my country from above as it should be.
The only point of criticism i have is when flying to runway 27 approaching from Amsterdam and Amstelveen the sim crashes which never happened to me before.
But maybe it has to do with previous photogrammatry maybe it hangs with what is written above about fpsdrops i dunno (yet)
Just as a suggestion to everyone who’s installed the CU - you should as best practice restart the sim after installing any DLC from Marketplace. Many things get init-reset that way and work correctly, that’s the guidance I provide to anyone who buys a new aircraft off MP for example. That guidance applies to both sims, but especially 2020 which is more state-sensitive due to the local installation.
For MSFS2020 with CU14 installed EHLE is still not fixed and the new layout is still covered in grass and the old layout is still visible, when will this get fixed ?
How does an updated airport from a CU work exactly? Did the default Gaya scenery get updated or do I need to now disable that package in the marketplace?
When loading in or flying around Schiphol/ EHAM, there is this heavy scenery you can see when the sim zooms in when starting a free flight. See the black rectangle, this is the scenery that causes the stutters when looking that way.
I am wondering if CU14 includes updates to Schiphol airport. Schiphol is mentioned in the video and in the notes “The city is home to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of the most important airports in Europe” but not sure if they have updated the airport or the surroundings or both ?
