”The functionality of the following aircraft on PS5 and PS5 Pro is limited (wipers, gauges, levers, knobs, etc. may not work properly).
- Antonov An-225 (from Aviator Edition)”
Is this a joke?
Of course wipers, gauges, levers, knobs, etc. may not work properly!
And no, not just on PS5.
Also on PC.
The Aviator Edition aircraft are officially disabled because they are not compatible with MSFS 2024.
A few of them will be made compatible with AAU 4.
I can understand that many new console players don’t know this right now and are probably reporting it thousands of times.
But the developers up there should know what’s going on.
Or is it not entirely clear?
With the An-225, for example, not only do the switches not work “properly” (also on PC), but the switches only become visible when you get close to them with the cockpit camera. That’s one of the reasons why this “Marketplace thumbnail aircraft” was also disabled.
I don’t understand this “UPDATE 2026-05-11” message.
As announced in the developer livestream, this will be the task of the AAUs.
What’s the point if the windshield wipers supposedly work on the deactivated Mriya, but everything else doesn’t and the aircraft is completely unflyable because AAU X, which will finally make the Mriya compatible with MSFS 2024, hasn’t been released yet?
Microsoft probably hasn’t even found a new partner to work on this aircraft.
