Poor VR performance on Windows 11 22H2

Ok SkylaneT, I only use the Oculus Windows App and the oculus debug tool.
Should I install the Mixed Reality Portal to fix that?

Does anyone knows when is this going to be fixed?

Check this post if youā€™re a Quest 2 user.

Iā€™m on the beta program and I had a massive performance improvement since 3am zulu last night.

Can someone with WMR and Win11 22H2 try manual Windows Update, look for KB5020044? I believe this has the proper fix for the ā€œEvent Traceā€ issue (but I donā€™t have 22H2 myself to test it).

Iā€™m not getting any stutters after applying KB5020044 today. It is still logging, and a quick MSFS run showed output of something like this

Before it used to stutter/glitch when looking around but now seems ok. Iā€™m not sure if this is the KB that fixed it for sure, but thereā€™s some info anyway

That is not an issue, the issue was ā€œoverloggingā€ causing a loss of performance. Some logging at low rate (not affecting performance) is expected.

Thank you for checking!

I can confirm this is fixed with KB5020044

"It addresses an issue that affects some games and applications. This issue is related to GPU performance debugging features. This lowers the expected game performance. "

Just tested without stopping HolographicShell
