The only way to hit MS/Asobo where it hurts is by asking for a refund. This was the biggest blunder in all MS flight simulator history. Make them pay!

I agree. I was dumb enough to get the aviator edition too. smh. Extremely disappointed.

A refund? Do you really think you will have a refund for finally 24 hours of delay? Stop a little. I had the same problems. I waited 24 hours and now the simulator works. Yes, there will be many updates. Honestly, did anyone think FS2024 was going to be perfect and without any bugs? Fs2020 and 2024 are complex simulators. Not a first-person shooter video game. I understand the frustrations. I am like you, a customer who paid but stop demanding a refund.

If your digital purchase was in the UK and not of merchantable quality, then by law you are entitled to a refund within 30 days under the consumer rights act. Better read the small print in your MS contract first though.

Your talking about Microsoft. Now for me back when I was inside so to speak and testing ooh man they were the best. I did try.. they said no..haha.. what can I say.

Refunded Steam Aviator today. Might reconsider if I see quick progress. Otherwise, I just reinstalled 2020.

I refunded my Standard version, and then bought Aviator (right before release day). Glad I did. 2024 is working perfectly now, and every time I bootup the sim it opens in under 3 minutes. 2020 used to take 5 minutes.

At first it was taking forever, an hour or even a lot more. But once I got in for one time AND with all the Aviator stuff in the Library, then it always boots up fast and correct. I think the trick is to get to boot up with everything there just once. After that, it’s golden!

But if it boots up but without all the assets that should be there, then it means you’re still in trouble for your next starts.

I got a refund after paying Ā£130 for Premier Deluxe version. However on the Xbox X I pay for Game Pass and got Standard version for nothing. When it comes off Game Pass I think I’ll buy just the Standard edition again

I’m going to stick with the standard for now all my planes transferred over but there is no way to enter the other aircraft from 2020 I’m the pilot just standing on the ground locked out of the aircraft. Planes are a bit bouncy when landing for example the 737 MAX8 is bouncy and light when landing, the pmdg 737 has a heavier feel when handling it which is more realistic, and when using weather during flights the aircraft doesn’t slow down when using landing gear braking and starts to slide. Pilots have to remove chocks isn’t correct procedure as well.

I’m not going to get a refund no thanks the same stuff happened to 2020. Same ones getting a refund will be same ones coming back for repurchase lol.

I decided to get the refund, which was immediately done. Then I paid 56Ā£ less by buying on instant gaming. I love the game but not at current state. Please Microsoft and Asobo. Fix it.

I won’t refund - but I am going to use 2020 for my flights - and 2024 for career mode.

But 2024 need to make cloud option and give people option to download full data like in 2020.

I got a refund this morning pretty much instantly on the Xbox version. Said the game content was missing, which is kind of true. I’m sorry but if I pay for a $150 game I expect it to launch properly on the first day not to not play it for several days with no time frame of them getting it fixed.

I actually prefer the 2020 version over this at least it had a better detailed globe and better UI.

Got refund for the Premium edition instantly but bought it not long ago. Xbox x.

Got refund for a 2 months old MS store pre-order of premium deluxe after 13.7 hours of loading screen hell, crashes, missing planes and textures and uncontrollable aircraft problems
And it was rather quick, good, because they sold me software that wasn’t fit for it’s intended purpose and got game pass instead to check up on it, how it will improve over time

Well I tried. I tried really, really hard to look past the problems and be positive. Tonight was the final straw. Found out during a group flight Xbox has no model matching AT ALL they turned it off. As well the 3rd person view is not on Xbox either. Proving once again the Xbox is a super watered down version of what our PC members get to experience. This entire release has been an embarrassment. I have second hand embarrassment for the devs and myself being involved in this.

Very fast refund. They must have an automatic refund in place for MSFS2024. It said could take 72hrs I was refunded in under 5mins.

This will be my last post here on the forums. Unless by some miracle MS/Asobo really can fix all these issues and give the Series X it’s due, I’m done. I highly doubt anything will be done about this, I’m sure this is what Xbox members will get and that’s that. Maybe I’ll repurchase in a few months or a year, but I really can’t trust MS/Asobo any longer. The SU15 issues and silence and now this release have completely undone any good from this Developer. I knew this release was going to be an unmitigated disaster but I had no idea I’d be requesting a refund after 72hours of ownership.

(Bank account was credited this morning, 11/22 less than 24hrs after request.)

How absolutely soul crushing this is for me you all have no idea. Thanks to the members that I have grown to be friendly with and gained knowledge and inspiration from!

Got a refund in under 5 minutes as I never could get in the cockpit after two days of trying. I am in the UK and the situation is ridiculous.
