I use it with the FBW, without any issues. Cant imagine it doesnt work with other planes.
I think the YouTuber refered to the checklist feature.

The four aircraft that are being referred to PMDG 736, 737, Maddog and Fenix A320 is only for if you want Pro-ATC to create flight plans for them, a feature I never use. Creating a flight plan elsewhere like simbrief and importing it Iāve found to be the easiest.
There are three checklists that are selectable for any aircraft A320, PMDG 736 and GA with the ability to create your own if you wish. I personally donāt use them as they are very generic and I have FS2Crew for the Fenix which I mainly fly.
The program seems very powerful but you have to muddle your way through by trial and error.
Iām certainly no expert but avoid if youāre totally new to ATC programs such as these as itās a steep learning curve.
Thats good to know. I was thinking it would limit flying to a very few planes if it only works with 4. Just hope they fix the multiple voice issue.
Hi guys, I bought ProATC yesterday but Iām having a big issue. I can only hear the ATC speaking when I pause the game or hold the right click button to move the view, If I donāt I only hear some part of the transmission. Any idea on how to solve?
I have exactly the same problem
Iām glad not to be alone, but unfortunately itās completely unusable for me right now
Right click the sound/volume icon in your lower right corner. Select āSoundsā
Disable exclusive controls in the sound output youāre using.
The installation manual refers to it too if you need extra help.
it doesnāt work for me, still the same problem
Didnāt work for me either
would it be possible to implement a dedicated section for PROATC/SR in pointsoftware website forum ?
Search for ādisable Windows audio duckingā and youāll get a number of other suggested solutions you can try. Usually one of them will do the trick.
hello, it helped me disconnecting and reconnecting the honeycomb bravo throttle
It is even better!
I have an idea for a possible new feature.
Would it be something to design an enable/disable function in flight so that users could combine it with using Vatsim/IVAO? I donāt fly a lot there myself, but mainly because it ruins the fun when youāre signed over to unicom and leaving controlled airspace.
If PRO-ATC could pick up there, it would probably be a welcome feature to many online flyers too.
This is a great idea, and one that has been mentioned before. However, as I am not (a) a programmer or (b) The programmer, I have no idea whether or not this could be implemented. If you would like to share your idea with those that would know the answer to these questions, please feel free to pop over to either the ProATC/SR Facebook page or join our Discord channel :- ProATC/SR Users
Ah Iām gonna try Discord. I used to be in the FB-group but have finally deleted my FB-account last weekend. I donāt enjoy social media anymore.
I use it with the Cessna C414 Challenger. (Of course with WTT.)
Usually VFR, if the weather is fine. If I get a ILS approach, itās ok for me.
The problem is, that you usually get very high altitudes, which donāt match the VFR philosophy. The solution is easy: You have to change the maximum altitude in the ProAtc aircraft datas. For my C414 itās 6000ft. When I want IFR I change it to a higher flithlevel.
VATSIM has great coverage in the US and Europe. But after that, you start getting spotty. I fly a lot of Africa. There is already a shortage of volunteers for some areas, but then you add in opposite night/day times and that makes matters worse. Practicing procedures or landings also sometimes is difficult on VATSIM as the controller may not realize what you are doing, or if it is busy, even have the patience to deal with you.
VATSIM is great if you are doing tubeliners, point A to point B, and you are in well populated and represented areas like the US, Canada, and Europe. And I get it, that is what a lot of people DO do, and thus VATSIM is great for them. And for those that it isnāt working for them, it isnāt a knock on VATSIM. VATSIM is good at what it does. Its just sometimes people have needs outside what VATSIM can supply.
Iāve just done a landing to LEPA Palma in the Fenix A320.
Pro-ATC gave me an approach frequency of 142.90 Mhz clearly this is incorrect and was never going to work. This was also shown to be the frequency in the list tab for the airport.
Upon checking the Navigraph approach chart for ILS Rwy 24L the actual frequency for approach should be 118.955 Mhz.
Does anyone know where Pro-ATC imports these frequencies from so that I may try to edit it? If it gets it from Navigraph then is the Navigraph data in error.
Iād post this in the Pro-ATC forum but it doesnāt seem much use and I think Iām more likely to get an answer here.
Thank you.
I have Navigraph data. This is what I see in LNM.
I also checked online, which matches, and also shows some UHF frequencies, which LNM appears to filter out:
