Randomly unable to hear ATC voice in Cessna 172

Hello,

I am curious as to why this is happening. I will have no issues when loading in but at some point during flight I will lose ATC voice on COMM 1. When I switch to Comm 2 I get the voice again.

For troubleshooting I have checked my cockpit volume knobs (even tho I am not adjusting them to begin with) and I have toggled on and off voice in options to see if maybe it might be a bug.

If I have both Com 1 and Com 2 channels active I get no audio from either. Or if I just have com 1 selected I get no audio.

My only work around is Com 2 radio only.

Is this a new bug introduced in the latest update? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

For testing purposes, is this happening in a specific 172, or all variations you’ve flown (I.e, Garmin, steam gauge, float,etc)? Thanks

It was happening for me during multiple flights of the C172 G1000. I haven’t tested it with other variants.
