Bought it on marketplace for use on XboxX. Love this era of aviation and that it was made for msfs. The almost perfect DLC. Almost because i can hear a terrible sound loop which stops me from using it. It is obviously not the sound from the exhaust/combustion, but something in the background related to the engine sound.
Hard to describe, it reminds me of the begin of “we will rock you” from Queen. …pending on rpm of of the engine of course. Aynone else can hear this ?

It’s going to be a free update, it includes a new vintage radio panel, stock EFB and some other new coding tricks for removing covers and calling a winch.
Is it career compatible?

Hi, picked up the 2024 version of the MP a week or so ago. Great fun to fly however one thing I’ve noticed while doing an air-tow take off is that the tow rope appears to go through the engine and is attached behind the pilot. This means that looking down (I fly in VR BTW) shows a rope coming out of your chest….
Haven’t tested with a winch launch yet but I would imagine the same issue exists there since it would use the same attachment point.
Hmm, strange, I’ll check the tow rope attachments. There are two attach points, so the tow plane one may be missing.
Confirmed, but my original idea was to ommit the tow plane and removing the attach point would not allow the user to select the launch method, I have added it back and it works fine now. I will re-package and submit an update. The version number will be the same, with an updated change log.
For me the Wren causes CTDs and is the only plane I have with this problem.
Sometimes when loading the plane, sometimes when exiting. It eventually loads but it is about 30 to 25% of the times. I think there is something broken with the Wren…
This is a conflict with airshow assistant, It happens for other 3rd party planes too, I have let the developer know about this and I can’t find anything in the Wren that would CTD. If you look at the Asobo crash report it will say that airshow assistant has gone “dirty”.
