So there hopefully wont be any actual interaction between effect users and those wishing not to interact? As in no one can shoot you down if you do not activate said effects? Or can you shoot down those willing to participate in said activities. Consentually of course

Exactly. These are visual effects only and at this time, we do not have a combat system. We do not plan on adding one on release either. This is pure visual eye candy only.
