[Released] Hondajet for MSFS

On their Discord channel it was written today the FlightFX team is finalizing a release announcement to be released soon. I read that as a few days for the release announcement with a date for full release. Remember this is MSFS Marketplace only, so the release is in coordination with the Marketplace team.

Sounds like it is dead

It is most definitely NOT dead. sttovo has it right, FlightFX is in the midst of planning for the HJet. Please be patient, all good things come to those who wait!

The standard rule on MSFS forum is that if a project does not give hourly updates on its progress, it’s dead.

So this is dead.

HondaJet is getting a release date tomorrow.

After the HondaJet, the Vision Jet is next, still TBD (still on track to be released this year).

Far away from it, we are actually gearing up for release.
Discord channel is extremely active, looking forward to seeing you there.

Great to hear that it’s still underway. Was just a bit concerned since we’re well past the formerly announced release time frame and then there was weeks of silence. Wouldn’t be the first time a studio kills a flightsim dlc. Yes, I’m looking at you, Gulfstream.

Sneaking in right at the end of May to cap off a fantastic couple months of releases for MSFS! Can’t wait to add another small jet to the fleet

They go so far as to mention Greensboro’s factory (five miles from my home), but still don’t use the Honda name.

Wait, 1200 nmi range? Wasn’t the HondaJet supposed to reach in excess of 1400 nmi? Or is that only on the “Elite” version? I know it has some additional fuel but I didn’t expect those extra 16 gallons to count for over 200 nmi range increase.

Twotonemurphy will be streaming the HJet today. https://twitter.com/dtwotonemurphy/status/1529193842179772416

The HJet will be released on the MSFS Market Place tomorrow (May 31st) at 1700Z: FlightFX HJet Releasing May 31st - FSElite

There is currently another live stream of Marwan, the main developer, with Theflyingfabio on Twitch: Twitch

I really like how they have extended the WT G3000, e.g. with interactive check lists and Navigraph integration!

Such a shame it’s only going to be available via the Marketplace. Until (hopefully) it is released via a reputable source it’s a very regretful “no” from me.

Don´t worry the Marketplace is reliable. I have bought all the Carenados and the PMDG Cloudmaster there. (Oh and I have tried installing that PMDG Operations Center from their website to get all the awesome liveries for the Cloudmaster and the 737 - and not it does not work, this Operations Center does not even install on my machine - nothing happens after the double-click!)

So if you are not buying a PMDG, which needs some stupid extra program to install liveries for their airplanes that simply is not functional at all, the Marketplace is a good option with no risks

The next Carenado release will be at the Marketplace too, and there are also no problems re-installing all the Carenados after a fresh Flight Sim reinstall. So far I never had any problems with the Marketplace.

They will make 100% more money on marketplace because of Xbox buyers. Putting the plane on a different store-front will make them less than 5% of all profit plus it will endangering them to piracy thieves. Is a different store-front worth it? In short, no.

Marketplace is the way to go. If you don’t support it then don’t buy it and don’t support indie developers, go buy CaptainSim cockpit’less aircraft.

It’s been rehashed 1,000 times here, but many prefer to buy outside the marketplace because (1) marketplace config files are encrypted, so you can’t tweak/enhance planes purchased from there, and (2) marketplace updates can take weeks longer to arrive than updates from other outlets.

That winning piece of quality work is available from the Marketplace.

I don’t doubt that, at least from a purchasing perspective. But I said “reputable”, not “reliable”.

As are offerings by Deimos and other shoddy developers. I rest my case. I much prefer to purchase direct from the developer, that way they get my full support.

And what is the result if the config files can be “optimised”? More and more people are appearing online who fly faster than a rocket with an A320 and harass serious users by constantly trying to fly through your plane etc… I can understand the delayed updates, but for all aircraft, various files should not be able to be edited (“optimised”) by users!

For some people the Market Place is a no-go, for others it is mandatory … I am really looking forward to the PLANE, because it seems really, really well done! The HJet is built for single pilot operation, so there is a lot of automation. I appreciate that, because the real plane seems to be quite well simulated, but I can nonetheless focus on the flying, not the systems operations.
