[RELEASED] IniBuilds Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun

Eh, who uses turn indicators anyway…

(says the Massachusetts driver)

Well just be careful not to “slip” all over the place :upside_down_face:

Again, Massachusetts, we’re used to adverse conditions, par for the course

iniStore first and then onto MP when it’s gone through the ingestion process.

Remind me to bring my snowboard if I ever visit, tied to the back of your car  :joy:

Can’t wait to fly this, is it coming ‘soon’?

Perhaps this month (what I saw).

Right NOW!!!

I see it in Your store! Thx! Now I know what I will be doing the whole weekend

Enjoy!!

I really enjoyed a few hour flight around the UK on VATSIM yesterday.

If on network use ICAO code ME108

And again please be honest on feedback Guys, we really do appreciate it

Looking forward to own it in the next few days!
And it’s Taifun, not Typhoon.

Thx, of course it will be! Btw. Any chances for the paintkit? Or not yet? Too early?

Btw . I bought by webpage but there is no any link for the download file, as I think I need this iniManager, log in here and it will be on my account for download, am I right?

Yes, that’s how it works, you need the ini-manager and when you log in, it’ll be there.

Well … just checked throught the manual, and I’m not sure about a few things:

  1. I can see no battery switch. So it seems the power is always on.
  2. What does the Fuel Cock Lever do?
  3. you created such a beautiful model of the Argus V8 but I can only see it in drone mode and can’t open the cowling.
  4. How does mixture control work?

Hey Archer,

  1. This is correct, the battery would be connected pre-flight and disconnected post flight
  2. It is a master fuel shutoff
  3. This is correct, more so for viewing through the nose inlet, something we may do in the future
  4. There is no mixture control

@rafikst
There will be a paintkit available just waiting for our forum Q&A posts to go up
Yes correct, you will install it through iniManager. Just make sure you log in with the same account you bought it on.

Thanks,
Ells

Did the shape/twist of the prop get fixed before release? Or are there plans to do so?

Btw. Where is the manual? If its present. I dont see it in Community\inibuilds-aircraft-bf108.

Edit. Ok I found it here:
Community\inibuilds-aircraft-bf108\Resources\Documentation

Thanks for the info about the mixture and the battery. I think that’s something that should go into the manual, what do you think?

Please DO add the cowlings. Otherwise that engine model seems such a waste
Also it would be great if you could add connecting and disconnecting the battery in the EFB. Would add a little more to the whole package and since you already have some maintenance functions it seems a bit strange that the battery is missing.
Would be great if you’d consider it.
Thanks.

There was nothing to fix, the shape and the twist of the prop was as per our reference photos.

@Archer374
We have bigger plans for engine starting which would mean the cowlings opening
