So, if the chart does not give a slope profile (angle), what do you set the VS to? 600FPM?
If it is on the PC market and later is released on Xbox and you already purchased it on PC marketplace, youâll have it on Xbox.
YeahâŠish. Haha. Iâm being purely intuitive here, but letâs say the âaverage ILSâ has a 3 degree angle, is intercepted at 3000 feet and at 10 miles DME out.
On average, with a ~140 final approach speed, youâd see the glideslope track give you about 800 feet per minute, sometimes 700 and sometimes 900, so letâs say 800 on average.
And again, itâs oke to follow this procedure when breaking through low level clouds with your Decision Height set to 200 feet Above Ground Level but you wouldnât be doing it in fog. However, under these cirumstances youâre right on top of it of course, you should intuitively feel if you go ahead based on the visibility and knowledge of the surrounding terrain.
It isnât. Itâs PC only at the moment, due to Xbox coding issues.
Got me all excited ha, had to fire up the Xbox Marketplace⊠unfortunately it is not, only released for PC.
Not going to be any of the complex aircraft on the Xbox until they sort those WASM issues. Which, is likely to be quite some time.
Thanks, that was my assumption and how it worked with the Carenado Mooney I bought years ago on PC, just showed up on Xbox when it was finally updated.
I was just making sure I didnât miss an announcement somewhere that Just Flight wasnât doing some sort of shenanigans with a slightly different titled version for Xbox that would be another $65.
Yep, thatâs my understanding as well, which hopefully not long after SU10⊠but we all know how these things go.
I know a lot of people knock it, but I just really enjoy the experience on XSX, even having a decently powerful enough PC to run it well too.
I had this at EKBI, after the hotfix i also removed and reinstalled every single WU. Now i have not tested EIDW, but at least at EKBI it stopped doing the CTD (already did so even after removing WU5 but came back once i reinstalled)
Will try and remember ba hot spawn at EIDW on final and see if mine CTDâs there.
Was going to post a few shots from last nights flight into EKBI, now it finally worked, but couldnât find the screenshots anywhere. But all smooth sailing. Getting to grips with the 146 and how it behaves, really enjoying it a lot.
Thanks mate, I might just try this. Regarding screenshots, are you on Steam? If so you can find screenshots in the âviewâ menu of the client.
Yeah the 146 is spectacular isnât it? I flew it solidly in the week it launched, and it will be my go-to whenever I take a break from the 737. ![]()
Nah i use the nvidia thing âalt+F1â but i just installed a new driver before flying taht kept saying âexpress installâ so i think Nvidia software is being difficult.
Yeah i quite enjoy it. I think i soon will need to take a break from my tour with bugsmashers and focus a bit on jets only.
I actually enjoy the -100 the most. It just looks less over stretched then the 300 does, a bit more sporty i gues ![]()
I just tried a flight from Aberdeen to Dublin and didnât have any problems, other than a nasty crosswind landing
Its a bit blowy in Dublin todayâŠ
How good does this look?
Regarding the âSyncâ function. Iâm thinking it should be a momentary function (push and hold). Has anyone found a way to enable this âtype of pressâ in the Control Settings?
See this post for more detail:
Implement âSyncâ or âControl Wheel Steeringâ Momentary Buttton Functionality (interacts with Autopilot) - Community Support / Wishlist - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums
Funny you should mention that, Iâm just working on some changes to that logic!
We initially implemented it as a toggle on/off control (TOGGLE AFTERBURNER) as a push-and-hold control might be difficult to use if you havenât got a physical switch/button to assign it to.
With the next update, you will be able to use the ELT SET assignment to control it using push-and-hold like in the real aircraft.

Oh great! Thereâs a perfect button for it on the honeycomb alpha, behind the yoke.
Fantastic! Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated.
Iâm curious. What does the PMDG 737 offer in terms of systems complexity that the Bae lacks?
Nothing really. The Bae146 is way more fun and challenging to fly. ![]()
Iâve been flying the last few days with the 737 (and did so for many years before) but to be honest I find it to be a pretty dull aircraft. Donât get me wrong, itâs a beautiful product to like, but just not an aircraft for me to love.
Howeverrrrr⊠if youâre new to it, and you got the whole learning curve point upward in front of you. Definitely get it. Thereâs a lot to learn at first and all that technology is pretty mindblowing when youâre new to it.
Failures amongst others, in general much deeper simulation of the systems.
But the BAe 146 is fun as well.
