Here are my final settings that seem to be working for binding the engine start/stop button and engine knob as separate buttons:
Knob:
Engine Button:
IMPORTANT: If you donāt set spad.next to END PROCESSING
when you double-click into each event, it will continue evaluating each event and will have wonky behavior.
Also, it is totally possible to bind all the knobs and stuff for the G3000. You just have to take care which screen the events are targeting. Hereās my Decrease
events for my knob. The behavior is such that when I just turn it that direction to decrease it, it zooms in the map. However when I push in the knob button while I turn it it changes the focus of the split g3000 touch screens.
How do you turn on the visual descent and vnav info panel on the MFD?
VNAV has a button on the left within the Flight Plan section of the MFD. Within that you enable it to turn on the profile. Then separately you have to hit the VNAV button on the autopilot when you want to physically engage the VNAV autopilot control.
Any plans on selling this aircraft outside the marketplace? I hope it also comes there (FlightSim.to and other sites) just like the Honda Jet that btw I am enjoying it a lot! Thanks and keep it up the good work.
If interested, here is a link to the manual for the āCirrus Perspective Touchā, the Garmin avionics used on the Vision Jet. Once you get to the site, it asks you to choose the product version but Iām sure any choice will do. Enjoy!
Same question.
I would like to have it on Orbx.
Just starting to wrap my hands around this jet. Have a few questions -
- How do I command the AP to fly the flight plan? For AP inputs, Iāve got a choice of NAV1, NAV2 and GPS. No FMS.
- Is there any kind of a written tutorial flight? They have one for the HJ that is very well done.
- How do you get the jet to be in the center of the map display?
- The jet is insanely sensitive in pitch. All other aircraft in MSFS respond normally. Is this something unique to the SF50?
Any info / suggestions are much appreciated.
Sounds like you want GPS. NAV1 and NAV2 are for radio navigation such as VOR stations. Unless you have a very specialized flight plan and are explicitly navigating to a VOR or LOC station, you probably always want GPS.
Donāt know about your other questions, sorry. No problems with map or pitch that I noticed.
With the new G3000, I canāt wait for this airplane to get that update! Will make it that much better. Still probably my fav plane to fly in VR.
Yeah, I fly the Longitude AAU1 with the updated G5000, and itās really hard to go back to the old buggy G3000 version. FlightFX has it on the near-term roadmap for both the VisionJet and HondaJet, fortunately.
In the Vision Jet there is no FMS button. Its called GPS. Choose the type you are trying to fly.
Sounds like you have to adjust a binding sensitivity. Pitch trim isnt sensitive at all. In fact it was scaled way back. What version do you have?
TBH I find it more sensitive than other airplanes too. Using a VKB stick with pretty linear curves. I am used to it now, but it is more sensitive I find than other airplanes. Any timelines on the new avionics being integrated?
As a data point, I donāt find it particularly sensitive at all. I have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke and have it configured via spad.next as pitch and roll axes, with no special configuration for the sensitivity or curve.
I have a VKB Gladiator with FSM Module - no adjustment curves. Works perfect - VolcTech (lead designer) did a great job dampening the pitch sensitivity.
Forget the version number but I just updated it last night, I should have the current version.
The Honda Jet comes with a very well-prepared written tutorial flight that walks you through a full flight, step by step. Is there anything similar for the Vision Jet?
