[RELEASED] Wilga 35/80 Series | Got Friends

I always prefer the option to turn on the AP. If simmers don’t want AP, they can avoid touching that “AP ON” button.

Yes, I also do not see any issue if there is an autopilot inside both versions. If someone does not want to use it, just do not press the button. I do not need it and will never use it, but I do not care if it is there or not. I do not really get the issue here.

Flight simulators always seem to get more than a fair share of OCD sufferers.

Not really an issue, but many people (myself included) like planes to be as close to the original as they can be. If that means giving up some creature comforts, then so be it

To be clear, I’m the same way. Does the original not have any form of AP? If not, then I agree with leaving it out. That being said, there’s nothing I hate more than a plane without AP that won’t trim out.

Correct, the original didn’t have any AP whatsoever.

Yep, I think the same - classic cockpit hasnt it so for me no AP here, but for modern look it could be, no problem, Second idea is to creating opening box (the shelf for example) like in some AeroplaneHeaven models. Inside a box, could be hidden AP tool  so it doesnt spoil visual and realistic effect of cockpit.

That would the best solution to make everyone happy.

Are we seriously getting the float version too?

Can’t see anything wrong with that  - Will we have the option for the TDS GTNXi or is that a bit too modern? lol.

Wow! Good news!

Just need to clarify for everyone so their is NO confusion on where our team stands with avionics and variants:

Wilga 35A:

  • AI-14RA (260HP) Engine
  • Polish Decals
  • Factory Avionics
  • No Autopilot/Flight Director
  • Unregulated Exhaust
  • Optional Skis

Wilga 80:

  • AI-14RA (260HP) Engine
  • English Decals
  • Factory Avionics
  • No Autopilot/Flight Director
  • Regulated Exhaust
  • Optional Skis

Wilga 80H:

  • AI-14RD (280HP) Engine
  • English Decals
  • Factory Avionics
  • No Autopilot/Flight Director
  • Regulated Exhaust
  • Airtech (Canada) LAP-3000 Floats

Wilga 80P:

  • M-14PF (400HP) Engine
  • English Decals
  • Modern Avionics
  • Pitch Hold/Bank Hold Flight Director
  • WILL NOT have True Autopilot (GPS/Nav/Ect)
  • Regulated Exhaust
  • 29" Bush Tires
  • LED Lights

All Variants:

  • Removable Doors
  • Smoke Generators
  • Optional Engine Realism (Failures, Startup, Ect)
  • Camping Cargo, Hammock, and Lantern

By no means are we saying we will never release additional avionics configurations in the future…

But we can pretty much guarantee this loadout will be the initial setup for release.

No addional 35/80 variants, true autopilots, GTN750, GTNXI, G3X, are planned at this time.

Cheers!

Amazing. What a great package.

If you could offer the 80P’s radio stack (not the GPS, glass instruments, or even the autopilot) as option to 80 and 80H that would be great.

Thanks for the clarification!

I see that you have both regulated and unregulated exhaust options. What exhaust does the plane you are recording have, and will the sounds change depending on what exhaust you have optioned in-game?

If you are recording an unregulated one (hope so!), a couple of EQ filters to a separate sound bank should do the trick for the regulated exhaust.

If you are having separate sounds depending on the exhaust setup, I would like to request that there’s an option for unregulated exhaust on the Bush variant.

I hope your Wilga will have a nice throaty idling sound like this:
