Reverse Thrust not working since SU7

Hey folks,

since the last SimUpdate7 I have massive problems with some of my input devices. I’ve managed to solve some after many hours of trying out everything possible, but I still have a huge problem with the reversers. I can’t toggle the reverse thrust anymore (input device doesn’t matter, tried with all possible devices).
I give you an example: I go to

Control Options → SaitekX52 FlightControl → Power Management → Throttle → Toggle Throttle Reverse Thrust → JoystickButton8 (here we have the action type “on press/on release”)

When I set the action type to “on release” nothing happens, and when I set it to “on press” the throttle jumps rapidly between normal thrust and thrust reversers.

I have deleted any other key for reverse thrust on every device to make sure I have only one key/button triggering the reversers.

Is there anybody having the same issue or a solution to that issue?

There’s a lengthy ongoing discussion about it here.
It’s a known bug and it has been logged.

A quick read through the bugs and issues section in the forum will net you many results.

Current workaround is to map a button to the “decrease throttle” action. Press and hold to activate reversers, and then increase throttle to close the reversers.
