Saitek Flight Panels

Thanks for this link - they seem to be out of stock at the moment, so I have registered to be emailed when/if they get more in.
Regards, A

Hi,
after the last update, I’ve noticed that the Taxi lights button and Panel button on the Saitek Switch Panel stopped working.

Is it only on my side or anybody else has also noticed this issue?

Hello at the moment I have not had that problem. It seems to be all right here. Try to uninstall the driver and reinstall it to see.

Hi,
thanks for the response. So I tried to reinstall it and it resolved the issue. Interesting
Thank you.

How’s it going now? Almost half a year later
I am running 13 Saitek/Logitech FIPs with no issues besides the occasional freeze. Hope you solved your issues by now :grinning:.

Well it’s been a while and I have a follow up question. I searched this forum but couldn’t find the answer.
During a flight I have to set different squawk frequencies. F.ex. 7000 and 6485.
I always thought that I had to put my radio panel in XPDR mode. When I do this the top dial changes the digit 0-9 and the bottom dial 00-90. The result is that I am only able to change the last two digits.
So I don’t seem to be able to set the right frequency with the radio panel, but only through clicking the command in the ATC window.

EDIT: Found it :relaxed:

ADJUSTING THE XPDR CODE
To adjust the transponder squawk code, first select XPDR on the radio mode selector knob on the left of the Radio Panel. Turn the outer rotary to adjust digit 1 and the inner rotary to adjust digit 2. To adjust digits 3 and 4, press the ACT/STBY button to the right of the unit and adjust digit 3 by turning the outer rotary and digit 4 by turning the inner rotary.

Hopefully this can help others with the same question.

See I like that it’s slow - I use a coarse elevator trim with digital inputs from yoke buttons and then fine tune it with the analogue trim wheel on the multi panel - makes trimming something twitchy like the TBM930 far easier and I can get something stable like a Cessna to hold altitude perfectly (winds permitting!)

HI, I’m in the UK too and downloaded a printable trim wheel from a site called “AUTHENTIKIT” He is an English guy who has designed 3D print kits for various aircraft, check it out on U-Tube, ps they’re very easy to make. No soldering at all. Forgot the 3d print files are free.

The avionics master switch on my multi panel seems to have stopped working, is there any software I can use to test the outputs to totally rule out anything on the sim?

Switch panel

Try Flight Panels Test Software

and it does report okay in the test software
wasn’t aware of another mapping though time to check.

My FLIGHT MULTI PANEL was working fine before SU5. now i get plugin error and it wont work.

there is already and instance of this plugin running.

Reboot and check wether it’s really running an instance of the driver of logitech when it’s reporting again. It’s easy to find in your task manager, details list

Hi Mate.

Today’s MSFS patch broke the radio panel.

When tuning now it adjusts the active frequency vs adjusting the standby frequency.

Would be great if the bigger knob also dialed the decimals faster the more you turn it

Hi there,

This most likely be something wrong in the game rather than the plug-in - the way it works is that we send a command to adjust the standby frequency - if the active is the one that’s adjusting then it’s because the game has them the wrong way round. Check if it’s doing it in all planes, but this is something that needs reporting to Asobo.

Ill test more thanks mate, but yes its doing it in all planes

Hi all.
I have the multi panel and radio panel.

Since a few updates back, they were natively working but now, nothing, not a sausage!

To get around this I have to manually run the plug in (like we used to a few updates ago) and the multi panel is fully functional.

I’ve yet to test the radio panel

Mine loads the same old way, with the sim. Saitek Panels ok, also the Bravo is working well, A/P and warning lights.
