But where can we find the old version? I think Simmarket overwrote it with the new one.
I think I have the same issue.
I will pm you the link to download it.
I believe The Southern Alps that Croix is referring to are in New Zealand. You do get the European Larch though, which are in the European Alps. Larix decidua - Wikipedia
Hi guys,
I’ve been working on a mod to correct and enhance Bijan’s seasons in the South East of France (mostly Provence and southern Alps).
In Provence, we don’t have a lot of fall colors, it’s mostly coastal, Alep pines and evergreen oaks, except in Maures’ forest where there are quite a lot of deciduous chestnuts trees. So I’ve been drawing polygons around each forest massif to manually correct those areas and took a special care around famous airfields (Le Castellet, Barcelonette, Tallard, Guillestre…)
I’ve been adding trees where there were missing and rermoving some others to reveal some hiden parts.
I’ve been cleaning the big terrain spikes that were all over the new Vexcel countryside photogrammetry area in french southern Alps (by the way, if someone is able to correct the coloration of those tiles, it would be awesome).
And I got rid of some oversized OSM buildings.
Here are some screenshots. I will upload it soon to flightsim.to
@bijanstudio, if you wish, you could incorporate it to your package.

A lot of work…
I didn’t see this in the update notes, but it looks like you incorporated the fix to blobby trees around the Eiffel Tower! Looks much better thanks!
Louisiana north of the I-10 line from Baton Rouge to Lake Charles has no palm trees in the countryside and very few in the cities.
I only see few Mexican palms there. I reduced the density a bit.
LA beaches look a lot better with v1.2
Hello Bijan,
Hope you are well?
I was on a flight from Invercargill to Dunedin…
And I saw a flashy green texture that seems to be trees… (see photo).
Is it normal that they are not covered with trees?
Thanks
I just realized that Mr. Bijan has released over 60 fixes in two weeks. In that time MS/AS has given us practically nothing. It’s amazing how one person can work miracles while leaving a large corporation in extreme embarrassment. Much respect and finger crossed for your futue amazing work!
I think this is unnecessarily complicated, and could use some re-organization. For instance, I have two updates for Earth FX at Simmarket. The older one is labeled v2, and the newer v1.1. That really doesn’t make sense. Only one has the sim - 2020, in the file name.
For Earth FX, if you’re using MSFS 2020, use version 1.1.
If you’re using MSFS 2024, use earth FX version 2.
It says in the product listing. It’s very clear.
Notification was also sent explaining this.
It’s the new ai that doesn’t recognize those areas as forest. It is worst than 2020.
Those can only be covered manually with SDK.
Photogrammetry is also a huge step backward in MSFS 2024.
A global shoreline cleanup has been completed, removing trees that were too close to the water, while preserving mangrove trees.
This will be in next update 1.3.
Looking nice and clean! How is that drone craft to fly, looks like fun, haven’t tried it yet?!
So there is only one folder now? I removed these…
…then downloaded 1.2 from simMarket and only see this now…
That is correct. Only one folder now.
