Another Test
MSFS in SAFE MODE
Cache : desactivated
All addon (Flow, FSUIPC, etc) : desactivated / uninstalled
NVIDIA : last today drivers installed
C++ : repaired : no problem
Windows 10 64 sfc /scannow test : no problem
Crash in 20s in the world map … in safe mode. MSFS can’t say that the problem is mine.
ive had it crashing a lot around seattle today im sure it where there are 3rd party airports as i usually get it in uk where i have lots
Unless I’m mistaken, in safe mode, third-party airports and aircraft are not charged into the sim. Normally you are in Vanilla version in this mode. Am I wrong?
Another information: I don’t have any third-party scenes in the USA. nothing.
Safe mode wont load community but does load things from official , i been flying in areas with no 3rd party and had no issues but in areas with 3rd party it plays up though that may not be the cause. what is definite though is there are issues with world map when moving and zooming in and its extremely annoying

Thank you.
I agree, I also get CTD when I fly (usually after about ten minutes). Do you think it’s the same problem?
I never had any stability problems before the SU13.
Try turning OFF the option in Data settings to use Bing Map Data. I don’t offer this as a solution because not having bing/photogrammetry data SUCKS but it is a good test to see if you are seeing the same as me. With Bing data off I am no longer able to reproduce a crash in the world map screen.

I’ve already done this test and I can confirm that the world map doesn’t crash if the data are deactivated.
The in-flight CTD is not for sure but highly because of the same issue, as you get the same data for the satellite image in-flight as in the world map.

So it seems to be related to Bing data then? i get no ctd’s in flight or at any other time only occasionally when roaming round the world map
Correct. If you turn off Bing-data the CTDs not happening anymore. You can leave all the other settings online, just the satellite data needs to be off.

Think maybe the title of the thread should be edited to reflect that this happens anywhere, not just around Constance Lake.

Was also getting this the other day when I was zooming around the world map. Haven’t had any in game ctds yet.
Me neither. Just wold map screen or occasionally while loading a flight.
So after trying out all of the official troubleshooting steps and those what I found in various topics here the only thing what I couldn’t try yet is disabling XMP setting for the ram in the bios. I found this tip in a reddit post.
I won’t be able to try this soon, so could you guys check this please? Maybe it helps.
No need mate
Probably smth is wrong between us and game /ms/ servers or with bing /pg.
This is also my assumption.
But what I’ve learned and experienced over the years about freely moddable simulators is that every little thing can make the difference, even if you didn’t think so.
I’ve now changed the title since it’s a general problem. On the one side I am glad that I’m not the only experiencing this issue, but on the other hand I hope that it gets attention by the developers

For information, I check my BIOS: XMP was not activated. So it’s not that for me.

You’re welcome
I hope MS will fix this problem one day. I confess I don’t understand the silence of the devs.
Next step : verifing the game files (steam check) > reinstall.
