Just finished a short flight with the Ini A321 using your metod and it worked for me. 
Next step, a mid to long range with the A333P2F.
I did two flights in A321 and A333 and was finally able to finish both of them!
Not sure if it was mentioned but importing winds data also triggers this issue. You have to enter climb, cruise and descend winds manually.

When I import a plan from Simbrief, the game simply crashes and closes by When I load the simbrief plan via EFB the game simply crashes and closes by itself.
It takes some experimenting and trial and error to narrow down exactly where the CTD and Freezes are triggered. Take each step one at a time and then record exactly the step causing the CTD. So, a start up and go immeadiately to the EFB, does it crash the moment you go to the EFB and click on the small box “SimBrief” to import it? If you’ve done nothing else, then restart with absolutely no add ons of any kind. At any time you find it works, then you have narrowed the issue down to what’s causing the problem. I say all this because several of us have narrowed it down to the “INIT req” button and not SimBrief. So that tells us SimBrief itself is not causing this, but something else related to SimBrief is the problem.
I did several flights in A300 (compatible version) and the game freezes even without using Simbrief import. The flight plan was imported from locally stored fpl file and I removed Simbrief login data from EFB settings to be sure no connection is established between the game and Simbrief.

The sim always freezes after finishing a flight in the ini a330 (200 and 300) when returning to the main menu. The flight itself is fine (except for the sound stutters sometimes, see other forum thread). Just returning to the main menu, the sim loads for a few seconds and then freezes and does not recover.

• Same thing happens every time. Sometimes the main menu is shown but cannot be interacted with, sometimes the game hangs before the main menu is shown

• With 1.2.8.0 this happens for every IniBuilds Airbus I’ve tried (mainly the A321) for every attemp to return to the main menu

Known issue already logged by inibuilds and MS. It happens with all inibuilds aircraft.

According to iniBuilds this issue “relates to networking and will affect apps like FSUIPC/vpilot/Simbrief/etc. Essentially, anything that uses simconnect or the networking api.”
Basically, every airplane that connects to an external source should be affected. Fenix is different because it works outside of the sim. Can someone who owns RJ Professional from Just Flight can confirm if this plane is also affected?
It’s been a month since this problem was acknowledged by Asobo and still no fix.

I can fly the Fenix A321 for hours and it will not freeze returning to the main menu. It’s something only on the Inibuilds airplanes.
Fenix works outside of the sim so it’s different. Try ATR if you have it and the game will freeze.

yeah my game freezes up completely whenever i end a flight with inibuild planes, have to end the process in task manager every time
Ok, so I tried the fix from ArmyRanger204 and worked pretty well. Thanks for that. It is annoying to type in the route manually (especially if you are long haul) but anyway this at least works around the issue.
I also found a thread on the iniBuilds forum (which I couldn’t find anymore) suggesting to do the following steps (you can skip steps 3 and 4)
- I created a flight plan in SimBrief (KLAX to KLAS)
- I’ve downloaded both flight plans (once for the EFB *.pln and once for iniBuilds *.fpl - see screenshot)
- Loaded the PLN file into the EFB
- Sent the route to the avionics (nothing happens, which might be expected because it might not be compatible with iniBuilds aircraft)
- Next try: put the KLAXKLAS01.fpl file into the following directory
\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2024\microsoft-aircraft-a330\work\flightplans - Entered KLAXKLAS01 as a company route (this is same as the filename KLAXKLAS01.fpl without the extension)
The departure and arrival airports are correct
The CRZ ALT is also correct
The route is also correct (well it’s only one waypoint called MISEN)
- Went into the F-PLN page and wanted to enter a departure → No Runways, No SIDs, nothing
The same with the arrival
- Next try: deleted the Navigraph nav data from Navigraph Hub
- Restarted the sim
- Repeated steps 6 and 7 → same results
- Typed in the Route KLAX/KLAS in the FROM/TO field
- Voilá

Importing flight plans from *.fpl files works fine with default planes, I’ve been doing this for weeks. For some reason does not work with A300, the game will still freeze after a flight.
I don’t know why but it’s not working for me on the iniBuilds.
GA aircraft can import fpl files
