Sim Skunk Works Leonardo (SIAI Marchetti) SF-260 AM

For those of you who prefer a black instrument panel I made this mod.

https://flightsim.to/file/61115/sim-skunk-works-siai-marchetti-sf-260-black-cockpit-with-multi-coloured-seatbelts

As a little bonus you can chose your favourite seat belt colour:

  • blue
  • red
  • yellow
  • orange
  • black

Black looks 100 times better!
Hope there is a NAV integrated soon.

Held back on this based on AvAngel’s review. Much progress since then?

Does the Atomium emit radiations ?
Strangely, I have stutters here I don’t have anywhere else

@PaternalSmile51
Hello Mario,
Is there any chance a later update could offer a left hand cockpit as well?
It’s pretty awkward sitting on the “wrong” side, and in real life there are versions with left-hand cockpits.

Added a mod for pilots who prefer sitting in the left seat:

Well done man. You’re a magician! Who need the original developers, huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m a Brit though. Right hand drive suits me for this one. It is weird though. Only the FI Bell off top of my head is right pilot seat.

OK you’re driving on the left side of the road.
Do you fly on the left side of the sky ?

Hi everyone, for your information, the 1.1.0 update on the marketplace is only available for xbox. There is no update available for the PC version. An oversight by Microsoft?

Found a real world YouTube video (in the fold-out below) and looked like an interesting strip to land at. Tried to find it in MSFS but it doesn’t exist as an ICAO. But
with the power of this scenery, that doesn’t stop me! Found it, tried it - a bit bumpy! But got her down eventually

@BostonJeremy77 Seeing as nobody else answered you
I like it. If you think you would enjoy this kinda plane I say go for it. I give it a solid 7.5/10.

What with the new sounds (so much better) and the nice smoke effects @PlumbGlue67 has added “officially” now, and the great liveries that are being given to us up above - it’s a lot of fun!

I still stand by my earlier comment about it being too sensitive and nose-over-prone on the ground, but I have learnt a few techniques that go some way to overcoming it. It’s not easy, but it still remains quite rewarding to land now.

This is the airfield if you want to have a go at it!

Hello,
PC version should be avaiable Thursday 28th or October 5th on marketplace

Thanks for the information. Let’s hope Microsoft speeds things up a bit in the future. 3 weeks to a month is a long time compared to the release of the patch on simmarket. Fly safe

agree, however they are working to make things faster.
Marketplace make checks on package quality/constraints/etc. other vendors don’t.

All Italian!

I would if it were me in 2020 or 2021. Now? I am gonna wait and see. TOO many aircraft and too little time. Especially with family and work - I am already stretched thin with time to fly. I appreciate the suggestion, though.

I’m getting frequent crashes to desktop only when using this plane. Is anyone having any similar issues? I don’t have any skins or mods installed that are associated with this plane so I haven’t a clue whats causing it.

Hi, personally I don’t have any problems. Have you tried playing with your “community” folder without any planes or mods downloaded in it to see if you still have crashes?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had been having an issue with a prop mod on the RV-10 that I’ve now removed. Just took a flight in the SF-260 and I had no issues so maybe that was causing it all along.
