SimWorks Studios Kodiak 100 one the best aircraft for MSFS 2020

ORBX honored the discount.

JustFlight are very good, they’ve given me refunds when needed.
Today they also provided discount for the new King Air to owners of the Caravan.
I’d say your chances are pretty good for the discount once they get it onto their system.

IMHO Just flight holding back to sell the King Air overhaul or give it a chance, they know the Kodiak with floats will sell well. Again Very annoying if that is the case orbx have it!, existing customers of the Kodiak should be given the opportunity to buy the float version at the discount price now.

It’s only been 12 hours, I’d give them a bit longer before making assumptions.

Look at how long Asobo takes to put things into the marketplace.

Same question

Actually makes no difference leaving it on now (for me at least). I guess since the instrumentation calculations are also handled by GPU now it’s made it run that much more efficiently overall.

It was always my ritual to pull that fuse and I did today first couple of times then noticed it doesn’t have an impact! 30fps locked

Lighting that used to work but now does not:

  • Instrument panel LEDs (across the top of the instrument panel). The LEDs light up but provide no illumination onto the instrument panel

  • Ice light

I am finding that after MANY hours in this airplane, I basically have to re learn how to fly it… full power it will not climb … very odd.

Nose way up high, lots of airspeed… no climb. What gives?

Just noticed that too. I’m ready to go back to the previous mod version. (Of course silly me i deleted the zip file)

LOTS of this on the discord. Something is broke

Something is definitely not right. Super difficult to climb. I also had autopilot set for level flight at approximately 1000 torque and simply added two notches flaps. When i set the flaps back to 0, the trim pitched up extremely and it went into an uncontrollable stall.

That is IAS not TAS.

Strange… Found on approach it felt completely off too, needed tons of power to drag it in, nose way up high… hopefully a fix comes soon.

I’m having trouble lighting off the engine. Battery on, buses on, ignition on, start on, wait for NG to level to 20.6, move condition lever to low idle and it refuses to light. All fuel is on. I don’t get it at all.

Wait for a fixpack I think. Flight model / power issues being reported among other things on discord.

Hopefully they’ll revert the throttle too, or at least make it possible to map with mapping software like SPAD / OH&S etc.

Both overhead fuel switches? The fuel cutoff just above the condition lever?

All fuel is on. Been trying for an hour now and it refuses to light off.

I introduce fuel when NG gets to 12. I thought that was the right value and it works for me. Does it say 20.6 in the docs or POH?

Maybe you could post a short video of the start?

Are there random failures now, or is the engine only supposed to blow if you’re running it outside parameters? I always run the plane according to the manual, and keep all the instruments in the green, but heard a loud bang, followed by the engine shutting down. Just before this happened, my internet went down for about 10 minutes, so I had the game paused (ESC menu pause). Internet came back on, I unpaused, flew for about 30 seconds, then the engine blew.

This was a heck of a place to lose the engine.

Just as an FYI, I’m using AAO and get the huge % numbers when using -100<->100, however the in-game throttle seems to be behaving as expected. I tried using -1<->1, but then the in-game throttle only moves 1% each side of zero.
