The thing that would make this perfect for me would be a web browser app in the tablet, specifically to access sites like https://chartfox.org/ and lookup free charts whilst in VR. Could this ever be possible @Sb3uh ? Many thanks !
It would be nice in future versions, if I could see the Wind spd /direction and Gnd Spd data in the moving map.

This!
Would be very nice
Hello, yeah the app is really good, the only thingā¦and maybe because I play in a 55 ā Samsung TV,the map itself is really small, the name of the cities every text inside the map,is impossible to readā¦hope someone cam help meā¦thanks
Just grab the whole window on the bottom right corner and drag it out to be as big as you like. Not sure if this changes the text size but I think it does.
Sadly expanding the window expands the map but not the text size. Text font size seems locked in to the maps themselves. Irrespective of zoom level. OK on a computer monitor, but if I switch to my 48" 4K TV I may have issues too.
FYI Version 1.1.0 is out. You need to download it and re-install.
Latest version allows you to check for updates via the app.
Release notes here-
If it had chartfox integration Iād instantly buy it
Yes, thatās my only complaint. I think it works in 1080p but in 4K, the font is too small and it stays small no matter how big you expand the windowā¦In VR, same problem, cannot read the text because itās too small. Once that is fixed, itāll be amazing x 10000 !!! love this app, itās just awesome!!
Yes, love the app too. Have started noticing a few airports that donāt show up as orange ādotsā in the map. Havenāt figured it out, but could be some 3rd party ones, but not all of them.
@Sb3uh
Hi, as above when lowering Resolution the Text size on the map becomes distorted, is there any way you could Scale the text size to suit individual needs? (make it a slider if possible or set of Options in the Settings) so that when using a lower resolution weāre still able to read text properly.
For example; Iām on a Reverb G2 but with a 2070Super, using the NIS Scaler utility (see other thread) Iām able to bump up some other settings for an overall better visual experience, but in doing so this lowers the Text readability of your app unfortunately, thanks.
I have version 1.1.0. I have followed the instructions in this post. Open/Sav tab displays my flight plans. But, double clicking the flight plan file does not load it. The bottom of the screen says.
document name
save current flight plan
I have no flight plan loaded. What am I doing wrong?
Thank You Bill McCracken
I bought the program, but since I only fly in VR, itās not working at the moment, due to the toolbar problem. On TBM, control+0 doesnāt work.
Bill,
Single click on the flight plan you want. Then, click on the magnifying glass near the upper left corner.
Bill
A workaround is to enable āhome cockpit modeā under camera optionsā¦ this will enable you to access the toolbar
But when I do this, the mouse no longer interacts with the buttons in the cockpit. Nothing else works via the mouse.
Bill,
That did the trick. I thought I read to double click on the flight plan. Didnāt see anything about the magnifying glass. I guess thatās what getting older does to you. Just incase I missed something else, This only loads the plan into Sky4sim. You still have to load the plan through FS2020 to fly the plan.
Thank You
Bill
You need to turn on Home Cockpit Mode and set the mouse interaction to Legacy. Then it will work.
It really solves the mouse problem, but another one comes up, my cockip position doesnāt adjust anymore and Iām sideways. The button assigned to adjust my position no longer works.
Use CTRL-1 to move back into the default viewing position, then the cursor keys to move your viewpoint up/down/left/right or ALT+cursor keys to move forward/back etc.
It didnāt, but thank you so much for wanting to help.
