There is no solution to stutter. This is bad coding. I do not have stutter in any other games. My PC is perfectly fine.
And I have no stutters, please feel free to explain?
Take the default A320 neo at lfpg gate; then pan the camera around inside the cabin and post a video of your fps.
Until then, I simply not believe you, and I’m sorry about that.
There are many peaple talking about stutters and posting plenty of video which prove it to be true; on the other way there are some peaple who say they don’t have stutter but I could not find a video which prove it; no one. Maybe you could be the first.
Yes, I know perfectly that Java and javascript are differents but garbage collector is a notion which exist also in javascrit
So, you can also have with javascript moments when the code needs to free memory and when the context is changed, a studder appears !
PS: Sorry for my English, my native language is french.
Yup that is bad, I drop to 25fps just sitting there and panning drops down to 17. However IMO that’s a badly coded cockpit rather than the whole sim, outside I have no problems.
Don’t forget they’ve changed how glass cockpits work with the cpu, they may well not have got around to all the neccessary corrections that are needed.
youtube is full ot that.. I also uploaded a video over Tokyo in a H135.. but what is that for a community in which I must proof what I wrote ? I tell you also that I have no single CTD. How I should proof that ?
Beside of these we not speak about FPS if we say “no stutters”.
The reports of all users tell us:
- for some users are stutters gone
- for other users are stutters not fixed
- and more worst: some users report the get now first time in-game stutters
PS: I hope english correct.. I not mean that the user stotters
I think there may be a comparison drawn here with taildragger pilots.
There are two types of MSFS users: those that have had CTD’s, and those that will.
I wrote a friend that I tried the day to get a CTD But it seems with my “flight profile” not possible to create.
I spoke about fps because the game stutter the most inside cabins due to a huge frame drops (15-20) when panning the camera.
This is happening to everyone right now.
Who says different is wrong.
Make the test: a320 neo, lfpg gate; then pan the camera around inside the cabin. That is the stutter I’m talking about.
YouTube is full of video of peaple trying to fly a 787 in external view. They are not simmers, not even gamers in my opinion. They are just youtubers and most of them take even money from software house.
I do it… beside of this a note about LFPG: why users allways choose the biggest airports ( 0.0001% of the game ) as a reference for the whole game
that’s unfortunately true
I have to inject myself in this conversation because @MichaMMA is a valued
contributor to this Forum and his advice is respected.
Couldn’t agree more.
so.. back in forum.. there are small stutters noticable. But far away from stutters we got former.
It happend mostly if you look down to the instruments and go up and look outside the front window.
That what happens in my case is , for me ( only for me ) , not a issue . I tried it with near 4K and all at Ultra and a old 2080TI. And I would repeat : this is LFPG about we speak here. Lower the settings should help.
I try to upload the video as “with link only”, so you can check. Takes a while, also youtube have performance issues in case of 4K
thanks
But of course I’am not the all knowing person, I have also my bad-days, and I also l learned lot’s of things in the forum … and my english is still worst
@Gamer09211757 .. here is the link: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/EIiXosfRZt0
But as mentioned, youtube needs possible an hour to re-render these 2min 4K video and make it much better EDIT: wow.. YT managed it already.. perf upgrade
The point is that the sim should run smooth in every high-end PC. You should achieve it calibrating the settings. Instead, after one year, 5 major updates, we are speaking about a downgraded graphics, all the addons planes broken and stutter again.
yep.. thats a good point. A long while ago I wrote the big mistake they made was these “Ultra / Medium / Low ..” what ever settings. It is good for a game console or a shooter, but for us it says nothing. What “Ultra” mean is relative and it is also changed around the updates. Therefore we often have to change our settings a bit after an update. I was also shocked as I noticed that my old hardware can manage these sim with “acceptable fps” at near utlra setting. Normally these should be possible after the second hardware generation behind the current one. But we can all these currently not change and I assume , wih all the changes on the to do list, these settings stay for us more “dynamic”.
For me important is, that we / each user can find a settings with which we can run the sim “smooth”. And these was former not possible for all users. There was reports that also a setting to “Low” caused strange stutters.
My experience with stutters is when i play at the desk (1440p monitor, 144hz, DisplayPort) i have regular micro-freezes but when i play on my TV (4K TV but any game resolution, 60Hz, HDMI) it’s butter smooth, absolutely no stuttering. I can’t explain why.
My rig : AMD 5900x, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM
Unless you are running an incredible fps @ 144Hz output you are likely starving the 3080 of data and it will be reissuing previously rendered frames.
which kind of monitor is that ? FreeSync ? Not-Full-Zert G-Sync ? Be aware that, if you come out the the range where your monitor can handle it ( more exact: switch often in and out ), you get also stutters. This is not the game, as you can see at your 60fps TV ( you have V-Sync enabled ? ).
