What happened to the graphics?
Since last night‘s patch, the sim looks like a very cheap version of FSX.
Very blurry, not much detail and weird big square buildings all over the place.
Mind you, I‘m flying on ultra settings with a high end computer.
Anybody else affected? What is this all about?
maybe post a screenshot so we can actually see what you mean… Mine still looks fine though
Make sure you still have Bing Maps data streaming turned on in options. Patches sometimes reset stuff like that.

Make sure your settings haven’t changed. Mine appeared at low when was on high/ultra
yes and it started with the patch 1.8.3.0 and continues with this new patch

Found it and turned Bing Streaming back on, which somehow got deactivated by patch.
That solved the blurryness and overall cheap FSX Look.
Unfortuntely those weird square houses remain.
I just found my settings for streaming were reset as well. Thanks for posting this, getting ready to see how mine looks now. 
On the second patch my graphics settings were gone from ultra to low…

I thought it was just me. The game used to look amazing, but yesterday it looked terrible and also reminded me of FS98.

Yeap iam flying right now the japan tour and looks like fsx with orbx flat water color looks bad and iam on ultra pushng 40fps

This forum is getting full of trolls, when I hear people saying FSX looks better I can’t help but laugh, but when I see 6 threads with a lot of likes saying the same idiocy I worry
Increase your rendering distance, look at my Tokyo pictures, I am using high settings with 200 rendering and I do not get those issues.
If you want even more than 200 you can edit the notepad and increase it further.
I just did if i increase to 200 my frames drops to 12fps lol if i increase to 150 fps 30s but same ugly scenery remember iam on 3840/1080
Try reinstalling the game then, as you can see from the pictures I have in my steam page I am not getting those issues
That being said, it still looks better than any other sim out there.
