Cessna 208 Asobo - Profile #7664 - documentation added and published on Spad.Next.
Cessna 208 Asobo - Profile #7776 - Updated condition lever (mixture axis) positions to make high idle and low idle positions more accurate.
I just published a new Asobo 787 profile for the Alpha and Bravo. It isnāt perfect but the majority is working and it is consistent with my other profiles so you get a similar experience across different aircraft. You can always remove the Alpha device if you need just the Bravo.
Thank you, that is awesome!
Where to download?
I published the profiles below (also published ācomplete deviceā snippets) for anyone looking for Alpha and/or Bravo. Like @FlyingCookie650, I am trying to make my profiles consistent across aircraft, even when moving from GA to airliners, while also keeping the Alpha and Bravo control profiles in MSFS to a minimum. Full instructions on all of my profiles. FYI - I donāt have to adjust anything in MSFS when I switch between planes.
You can search for all of my profiles under author āDiscoStuā.
Custom profiles
- Asobo 747-8 (commercial profile uses 2 throttles instead of 4) (supports AAU02 sim update)
- Asobo 787 (supports AAU02 sim update)
- PMDG 737
- Fenix A320
- FBW A32NX (also works with LVFR 319 with FBW Mod and Headwind A330-900)
- iniBuilds A310
- C172 Classic (including skis and floats)
- C172 G1000 (including skis and floats)
- ATR (42-600 and 72-600) - standard and commercial profiles available
Generic profiles (works with most āstockā Asobo GA aircraft although you still have to look after fuel selectors manually. I found there were too many variations to try to accommodate)
- GA single engine - basic (no prop control)
- GA single engine - complex (with prop control)
- GA twin engine - basic (no prop control)
- GA twin engine - complex (with prop control)
There are another 4 generic profiles that are exactly the same as the 4 above but they are configured for a ācommercialā Bravo setup (look for ā[Commercial]ā in the profile name) for those who prefer to use similar controls for both GA and Jets (like I do).
Shared SPADNEXT profiles are all available in the āOnline Profilesā tab/area when you are viewing your own profiles. Just select the profile you want and click the āActivate Profileā button at the bottom of the screen (you will also have to save the profile to add it to your local profile list).
thank you so much for sharing, I will try them asap
Hi all. I just published a new Spadnext profile for the iniBuilds A310, again consistent with my other profiles in terms of functionality. Hope youāre enjoying flying with all of them.
Hi all. For anyone using my profiles, I just uploaded a new one for the ATR 42-600 and 72-600.
Enjoy!
Thanks, great, I will try later today
Britten-Norman 2 Islander - Profile #8620 Lowered wheel trim sensitivity on Bravo
Hi all, published 8 new generic GA profiles today, all consistent with the behavior in my other profiles. See my edited post here for a full list.
Thanks I like your profiles
Just published an updated 787-10 profile that works with the AAU02 sim update (aka the June 22nd update of the 787-10). Almost everything is working including boeing reverse lever functionality. Iām still working on the seatbelt signs.
Just updated my fenix A320 profile with improved boeing throttle reverser functionality thanks to the help of some spad.next Discord users ![]()
FYI - Published a new Asobo 747-8 profile (for the latest AAU02 update) that uses the full 4 throttle configuration. I also published a āCommercialā variation that uses a 2 throttle Bravo configuration (axis 3 and 4) if you prefer to use the same configuration across aircraft. Iāve made some updates to prior profiles as well so you might want to grab the latest versions ![]()
Thanks again for your work!
Slightly OT, but is there a simple way to check for updated profiles in SPAD.next? I think this is not implemented, am I right?
Thereās no simple system that i know of.
Iād assume you would search for the same profile and compare with the version number thats available on the online profile tab. But that is invalidated the moment you modify a downloaded profile.
Thats why I tend to post a reply in this thread when I update a profile, so people can go fetch the latest version, and quickly find it with the profile number.
I loaded your C208 profile and was excited to see that you included use of the Bravo switches for the starter and fuel pump. My problem is āno workā. I get no visible indication in the cockpit and no activation in a/c. Iām using the BlackSquare Analog Caravan, should I be using the stock Msfs Caravan? I have the Alpha/Bravo/Rudders and they work fine. Helpā¦love your work..Chan
Hello!Glad youāre finding my profiles useful.
I made the C208 profile for the default Asobo plane, the BlackSquare is using its own custom variables and therefore wont work.
I unfortunately dont have the BlackSquare at the moment, may look at it in the future.
