I have the same issue

Do you have DLSS frame generation on ?, if so see that report: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/stuttering-when-dlss-frame-generation-is-on-and-huge-fps-drops-at-the-airports/669762?u=dementedcorn327

Nope FG off and using TAA.

I also tested with med-high preset, no difference.
Using ultra preset.
All traffic set to off.
NVIDIA latency off.
My textures are always set to medium, higher is horrible stutterfest.

Thanks for confirming. This should have been fixed with patch 1.2.8.0. Have you disabled you addons, community folder is empty ?.

I am getting this same issue. It also happens when taking off at some airports. Running a 3080/7900x3D pair.

Same here. I have a i7-13700 and RTX 4080, 32g RAM and 100G connection. I get the stutters across the range of settings - should normally be at a mix of ULTRA and HIGH - tried everything at LOW and target 30 FPS and I ma still getting these stutters when taxiing.

Same here, mostly landings and parking. It started some days ago, it wasn’t always like that, I guess since I started to go bigger airports, before I was going small/medium ones mostly. I have 7900X, RTX 4070Ti, 32g, 100G internet and installed on an M2. Also tried dynamic setting but it doesn’t seem to help. Also the usage is nowhere near limit, the setup barely lifts a finger.
I found some topic about this for 2020 which seem to be certain sound that were loaded incorrectly or slowely causing this.

And another discussion for 2024

I am unsure if the 2020 bug is related.

Happens to me too at any custom Asobo airports or 3rd party airports. Doesn’t matter the plane, anything from a complex airliner to a simple Cessna.

It will go from 80+ FPS then around 200’ AGL basically freeze, then I’ll crash on the ground because I loose all control. Once settled on the ground it stutters like crazy and is stuck around 5-10fps.

I will even turn my graphics down to low and it still happens.

I have similar specs
4080
7800x3d
64GB RAM

Today is June 14 2025 and the bug you guys mentioned is still in the game.

It ruins my flights. It is really annoying to spend a few hours flying and then I could bin my flight just because plane goes into nosedive 50 feet above ground and crashes somewhere near the runway.

Please lemme know if there is any known solution for the bug yet

I can confirm that I observe just prior to landing major stuttering occurring and during the landing run. Frames do recover when turning off the runway on to the taxiway and sim appears smooth and fluid once more.

I observed this at simple Community Package airports (BKPR, ENBR) but also Asobo default airports such as LEMD.

No addons installed apart from Navigraph hub/avionics/Simbrief. Orbx aerocaches.

Developer mode enabled but not changed.
Running SU2 (no beta)
DX12 for MSFS2024
Nvidia driver 576.52
RTX 4070 Super 12Gb
32GB RAM
Window 11 Prof

TLOD =100
OLOD=100
TAA
No FG
No Fauna

This is a well known issue and is noted in the latest 1.5.7.0 Beta 3 release notes. Asobo is listening. I am aware the issue has been bug logged for quite some time in another thread.
