yeah i did that multiple times left it for an hour no change in data needing downloaded
lol I was thinking maybe this is why people are having the probs they are. people that were able to fully d/l the patch arnt having as many probs people that wernt able to areā¦ hmmm makes one wonder

Just finished my first 787 flight after the update. The whole experience was generally smoother (i.e higher FPS) however it wouldnāt let me use the APPR mode for the ILS approach as it kept switching off whenever I pressed it. This issue never happened before the update
You are definitely not the only ones.This is not what I paid for and this is very disappointing that the patch
has broken more than it fixed.For example the GPS screen is black,the weather is not working,no lightning,no rain where it should be,no clouds where they should be,the list goes on and on.
I paid for what was advertised and this is not it,what are they doing.Please make me understand.
non of us wanted this and yet we pay for it. Makes me almost sick. You buy a product as advertised yet you dont get whats advertised. but yet they tell you to wait, and wait, and wait.
I wonder if any of us bought a car or other item that ended up not working as or sold as expected how long would it be before we took that item back? there are Laws that do protect us in the US about this sort of thing.

I cant load ingame. I deleted everything in the community folder. It only worked one time for me yesterday now it permanently crashes to desktop while loading.
Do they not test there updates before release,as Cashaber says our patience is running thin.
It seems that our requests are being ignored.
I wonder if the beta testers just load and fly. I found the issues I brought up in 10 mins just by creating a Flight plan and trying to fly it
You did better than me. I tried three circuits to see if the floating off the runway on landing was fixed. All three were a total fail. First one flew down the ILS and at 399 AGL disconnect it and the thing fell out of the sky nose first!!! Next two about two minutes in the AP in LNAV didnāt turn to follow the magenta line. Go and look at the LEGS page and theyāve all disappeared even though the MFD still shows the plan.
This is getting stupid. I paid $60 extra so I could get the 787 and a month later I still havenāt been able to take it anywhere. I have a lot of experience with the complicated airliners having flown study level 737 and A3xx craft in earlier versions of flightsim.
At this point trying to figure out how to get a refund and get the standard version instead. Maybe we need a class action suit based on the way this launch has gone. They sold us an extremely buggy product that keeps getting worse with one step forward and two steps back each patch.
Yes Iām partially just venting there but this really is still ridiculous. Itās like they learned from the Windows team how to make patches.

Even worse. I tried flying the A320 just now and started up manually as I normally would. Guess what? The engines refused to start and when I tried starting up automatically (Ctrl + E), it worked for a while and everything shutdown itself during taxi. Another automatic start turned off all the lights and electronics

I remember some issues in FSX but at least all the basic functions worked. the A320 when I came in for a landing via ILS teh ATC said go around I hit no buttons and the plane took off like a bat out of hell, full throttle and at a rate of vspeed 6000/min. and then the engines hit idle and I dropped right out of the sky
I have also noticed that both the 747 and 787 will not stay on track on the magenta line it keeps weaving back and forth like a sine-wave
at any rate Iām off to bed I hope there is a hotfix or something in the morning but Iām not holding my breath
Now the 787 wonāt even want to taxi with 60% throttle

Iām actually really upset that I paid $120 for the additional airplanes mostly because I thought there were going to be some sort of decent flying machines. The 787-10 for example canāt even complete a simple direct to function. Flying on vatsim, a controller tells you to fly direct to a fix and of course the airplane is incapable of doing that. Itās also incapable of inputting airways into a flight plan. On top of that the A320 now after the patch if you turn the apu off after starting the engines the number 1 engine shuts down. I am really only Depending on payware aircraft at this point and I refuse to fly those airliners. Iām just upset that I paid $120 bucks for this sim. My suggestion is to spend the $60 bucks and fly VFR and enjoy some scenery. Thatās all the sim is good for at this point. Itās a joke

Same with Neo APU
