Today FS2020 decided it didn’t want to launch at all… repair, nothing, reset, nothing… full uninstall and reinstall :frowning: nooo … oh well atleast i can say i have 220Meg fibre… should be done fairly quickly… not sure if it was the latest H2 update from MS that ■■■■■■ it…

Guys i have more sad news, well for me anyway.
EGMH manston Airport was removed from the game :frowning: it is gone IRL but it was my local airport so im really sad to see it go

My TCA quadrant started having intermittent connection problems then failed completely a couple of weeks ago. Went through a few troubleshooting steps with them. Thought I’d have to send it back first, but they’re already sending a replacement which “You should receive it within 1-4 weeks; (pending any unforeseen, issues, holidays or weather delays).”

That’s good news on the replacement! My recent order from Amazon has been working 100% since Thursday and I’ve done a number of flights without issue.

I’m beginning to think there was just a large number of faulty quadrant’s released, most likely due to demand and not enough time to quality check them prior to shipping perhaps? It’s been week 1 of 2 on the repair side, hopefully I should get further details on my original quadrant next week.

Glad to hear your new device is working better - that certainly suggests it’s not your computer or USB ports at fault! I haven’t heard anything specific from TM about how they’re getting on with my quadrant that I sent back, but I’ve now had a notification that a parcel is on its way from them, so hopefully it’s a fully functioning quadrant… I’ll keep you posted!

I received a tracking number from UPS today, my repaired quadrant is on it’s way back and should be here Wednesday (but my original order got stuck in Stanford Le Hope for a week last time).

It’ll be interesting to see if it will be a brand new replacement or simply a repaired item. I hope your quadrant works out!

Quick update, my UPS delivery arrived earlier than expected (today) and fair play to TM. They advised 15 days, the full process for me was around 7 days.

I’ve received a fully boxed, brand new quadrant replacement. I won’t be able to test it until next weekend but glad it wasn’t my original unit repaired!

My delivery also arrived early today, and I agree - it was very fast. The report attached to the package said they couldn’t identify the fault (did it repair itself en route?!), but they have sent a new quadrant anyway. I’ve just been testing it, and so far, so good! None of the old problems so far. Let’s hope it keeps working over the coming days. Interestingly, the serial number is very different from the original one (the number is a lot longer).

My TH support guy is telling me “Actually, this is not a common issue.” by me looking at this forum I can see that he is full of it.

Hey All, thanks for initiating and contributing to this thread!

I received my quadrant along with the bundled stick a few days ago. All was fine for a bit until the quadrant began disconnecting (stick works without any issues). I’ve tried all the previously suggested measures, however, without any luck. The device seems to work flawlessly until it out of thin air disconnects. Changing the cable appeared to be the real solution at first but sadly it didn’t last long…
As I have now wasted plenty of time on this “out of the box” experience, I’m trying to decide whether to go for a full refund (entitled through the reseller) and go for some other device or request a replacement. Therefore, those of you who have received their replacements, could you please confirm if the issue still persists?

It is worth mentioning that the quadrant only disconnects while in FS2020, never otherwise. As I don’t currently own other games on which I could test this out, has anyone else encountered the disconnecting issue on other games?

Dude - you are welcome to this thread - also i have had my replacement now for at least 2 months and not had a single issue… definitely a rush job by TM in China for a lot of units - the QC process was poor. Get a replacement

My sidestick has been flawless - love it.

The problem started for me when I was using FSX. Got my replacement Quadrant from Thrustmaster a few days ago. So far so good.
