Thx again!
This is useful as I just got my 2nd quadrant, thanks! Do you know which description to use to set my buttons for LNAV and VNAV of airliners?
I may be wrong, but I do not believe those specific buttons have been given a keybind.
Hi,
May a fellow member, kindly, send his profile ? I am having difficulty for settings
Thanks for this. I’ve been having trouble with the knob, so I have left it out of my bindings altogether and used the mouse to interact with these functions onscreen. This will solve all of my problems!
hi everybody,
I have the Thrustmaster Boeing pack and everything worked fine until yesterday (using Xbox series X). Today I discovered that my TCA throttle quadrant does not work anymore (was perfectly working yesterday). On the contrary, the boeing Yoke works perfectly. Strangely the throttle axes are not recognized in the calibration window. Throttle Rotaries and buttons are no more recognized as well. As a test, I connected both yoke and throttle to my PC, scanning axes and buttons with thrustmaster drivers and found that both yoke and throttle axes and buttons work perfectly!…… so It does not seem a throttle hardware fault!. Deleted all the TCA profiles (left only the default one) but no results.
Anyone noted a similar problem?. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated…..
thanks in advance
Alessandro
Maybe by mistake you changed the switch to PC mode on the back of the yoke? Check it out
no, its set to xbox ![]()
found the culprit……and guess what……it was MSFS!.
uninstalled and reinstalled everithing (280GBs!!) and now my throttle magically came to life!.
i would never have believed it but, on Xbox series X, MSFS could suddenly lock your hardware controls. The only chance is to reinstall everything.
Weird but true.
All the best
Small mod note: Moved this from General Discussion into the correct peripheral area of the forums (and removed the 30 day autoclose on the thread)
Excuse me, I have a question, but is it possible to set and manage the altitude from the tca module?
Currently on the airbus with the dedicated set to activate the selected altitude I still have to press the managed mode on the real cockpit… can I do everything from the peripheral from this?
Unfortunately, there is not a default sim keybinding for the push/pull of the various autopilot knobs.
It’s a frustrating oversight and one that I wish Asobo would address.
If you are on PC, there are some third party solutions, but I do not have experience with them. Try looking into “SPAD.neXt” and/or “Axis and Ohs”.
Hello i am an xbox series x user with a tca yoke pack edition, my problem is that i can’t add another profile to my yoke controls its either on default or yoke standalone if i add a 3rd profile or duplicate one, immediately after appling ,saving and exiting its gone
What chould the problem be?
Kind regards
Thabo
Hello Nixon. Maybe you can help me. I have the boeing yoke and throttle quadrant and also the thrustmaster tfrp connected with the quadrant en the quadrant with the yoke. All is recognized in the control panel and also in msfs2020 in the calibrate screen (the pedals moves). When i go into the sim the pedals don’t work anymore (completly frozen). Do you have suggestions.
Are you on Xbox or PC?
If Xbox, have you fully quit the sim and restarted it? by fully quit, I don’t mean Quick Resume, but actually quitting via the Dashboard > MSFS > Menu button > Quit.
If PC, have you tried connecting your pedals directly to the PC via the USB dongle?
I am on PC. When i connect the pedals via the USB dongle the pedals works fine.
I had issues with my TPR daisy chained to the quadrants and have just plugged them directly into my PC via USB.
I, honestly, don’t know if the PC supports the pedals connected to the yoke/quadrant(s). I know it is required for the Xbox, but the PC doesn’t treat the yoke and quadrants the same way. The Xbox treats the entire assembly — yoke, quadrant 1&2, quadrant 3&4, pedals — as a single peripheral. The PC treats each component as an individual peripheral.
I find it interesting that you saw movement in MSFS, but just not in the cockpit. I am understanding you, correctly, yes? You see them moving in the Controls Options/Sensitivity settings?
Yes exactly. The pedals moves correctly in the controls options but not in the cockpit.
I will have to hook my pedals up to my quadrant and see if that occurs for me.
That is really quite strange that you’ve got motion, but not when in the aircraft.
I really have no answer for that.
Yes its really strange. I don’t get it. Anyway thanks for your help.
