Same here. they fixed the Tobii crash, and now we have access to settings that do not work. Unbelievable!

I just tried it, it does not produce CTD anymore but the sliders on the right flip between 0 or Max and the 130 .5 values remain.

Also the ‘Reset’ icon does not reset the sliders that are more of a toggle that flip.

And no other information about what each of the sliders changes. Also the central eye tracking cross does not move.

I applied the manual XML editing workaround the other day but reverted back now but did not help.

I went to the Tobii Experience App, did a new calibration and it works in the App itself so it must be something in MSFS that is not liking it.

Also what are the joystick Axis mean. Are they the equivalent of the sliders?
I wonder what the dev see on their side in this screen because I am totally confused here.

• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• The Tobii hardware settings no longer cause a CTD, but the “fix” just removes the CTD but still doesn’t enable properly editing Tobii curves. The Tobii hardware page provides a bunch of nonsensical axis curves that don’t relate to actual Tobii settings.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• This is a proper Tobii adjustment setup, from FS2020:

  • FS2024’s version with no labels on the axes and nonsensical values:

Same issue here. The sliders are senseless without any description.

Same issue :

What we have with MSFS-2020 (good) :

What we have with MSFS-2024 (not good) :

NB : I’ve tried transferring values to the editable fields on the right, but the result doesn’t make sense.

The 7 Axis are the 7 Points in 2020 i would guess.
But why 5 values …

Same here. Great fix - CTD eliminated but no one checked if it even can be configured.

Yeah, who is working on this feature ? They announced a partnership with Tobii and this is not even at the level of the FS2020. Are they not ashamed of what they are putting out ?

I have the same problem

Yes, I have the same problem with my sim and Tobii. It’s frustrating that MS/Asobo haven’t addressed this issue adequately yet and they don’t seem to be doing any proper testing.

It’s also concerning that Tobii has been advertising their tracker as compatible with MSFS 2024 on various social networks since the release, even though it currently doesn’t work with the simulator. This could be considered misleading advertising, as they are promoting compatibility despite being aware of the issues. Such practices might violate consumer protection laws in the US and many European countries. Wild. Nowadays, there seems to be no responsibility and no accountability anymore.

Why was this thread marked as “feedback-logged” and not “bug-logged”? This is not a feature request, but a regression.

Same issue here

Yes it is certainly not a feedback for a new feature request. But I am wondering if the dev have functional Tobii UI on their side and xy reasons makes it broken on ours. I do not see a reason why it will do this, otherwise, yes, it is puzzling…

On my side, the sliders go 0 to Max, and locked on a Max number. I edited the XML multiple times, reverted to default etc. to see if the XMLs values that could be out of range are breaking the interface but it does not seem the case.

Free look always resets the view now with Tobii, disabling Tobii won’t help.

I have the same issue as the OP. This is unacceptable as the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 is advertised as MSFS 2024 compatible, which it is not because the settings cannot be changed and it is not working properly in the sim. It looks like nobody at Asobo or Tobii is testing this. This issue should be logged as a bug report, not a wish list item.

Not sure if this has now become an MS problem or a Tobii problem…

If you want to save yourself a hassle setting up tobii then i recommend using free software called opentrack.

Made wonders for me in fs2020 and fs2024

I would be happy to get OpenTrack if it works but Tobii is looking at me here and reminding me the money I spent on it last year

So I might wait for the next patch to to see if the calibration screen will be functional.
