I have written up two 100% reproducible cases for Zendesk: one for the missing Weather icon and one for the missing Toolbar. In the first case, the Toolbar works after loading but the Weather icon is missing. In the second case, the complete Toolbar is missing.
I can only actually reproduce it on my PC, but I think xbox has the same issue so hopefully some of you can also report it to Zendesk on other systems.
Steps to Reproduce (SU9): Weather settings disabled after loading Saved Game
Microsoft Flight Simulator Build version: 1.25.7.0
Categorize the bug: UI, Weather
Is dev mode activated: No, dev mode wasn’t activated
Peripherals & Controllers: Laptop + Mouse
Aircraft model: Cessna 208 B Grand Caravan EX
Have you installed files in the “Community” folder: No
Subject: Weather settings disabled after loading a Saved Game
Description:
When loading a saved game, if the Toolbar is visible, it is always missing the Weather (cloud) icon. This means it’s not possible to change the weather or time of day after loading a saved flight. Even though it was possible in the flight that was saved.
Repro Rate: Every time (100%)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Go to the World Map
- Select a Departure Airport
- Select a Parking to ensure cold and dark start
- Select an Aircraft
- For Weather and Time, select “Live”
- Click “Fly” and wait for the flight to load
- Click “Ready to Fly”
- Open the Toolbar (hover over it)
- Note that the Weather settings (cloud icon) are available
- Press “Esc”
- Press “Load/Save”
- Choose “Save to this PC”
- Save the flight to a location on the PC
- Press “Resume”
- Press “Esc”
- Press “Load/Save”
- Choose “Load from this PC”
- Choose the previously saved flight
- Wait for the flight to load
- Open the Toolbar (hover over it)
Expected result:
- The Weather settings (cloud icon) are available
Observed result:
- The Weather settings (cloud icon) is not available

Description:
When loading a saved game, the Toolbar is missing and does not appear when the mouse hovers over the top. The white triangle on top of the screen is also not visible.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Go to the World Map
- Select a Departure Airport
- Select a Runway as starting point (to ensure a “hot” start)
- Select an Aircraft
- For Weather and Time, select “Live”
- Click “Fly” and wait for the flight to load
- Click “Ready to Fly”
- Open the Toolbar (hover over it)
- Note that the Toolbar is available at this point.
- Press “Resume”
- Press “Esc”
- Press “Load/Save”
- Choose “Save to this PC”
- Save the flight to a location on the PC
- Press “Esc”
- Press “Load/Save”
- Choose “Load from this PC”
- Choose the previously saved flight
- Wait for the flight to load
- Open the Toolbar (hover over it)
Expected result:
Observed result:
- The Toolbar is unavailable: no white triangle and it does not appear when hovering over it
