This is what I’m thinking about a lot, since i come from the FSX environment, many things in MSFS2020 are not making sense, like can’t access menu toolbar, can’t save flight (properly), no 2D panels, can’t pop out all instruments (just some), world map is buggy as hell sometimes i spawn on the runway with the engines on (even if i selected parking), no cold and dark setup, airplane failures needs to be activated every single time before flight, autopilot not working properly, VNAV not working as expected, Atc gives me 4000 feet in the mountain terrain

Mod edit for translation: when you recharge a saved flight plan, you find the plane in the right place but the flight plan has disappeared, the ATC and the entire menu is no longer accessible. If, however, the flight is still completed until the complete stop of the aircraft after successful landing, the flight time is not counted in the logbook.
lorsque lon recharge un plan de vol sauvegardé, on retrouve l’avion au bon endroit mais le plan de vol a disparu, l’ATC et tout le menu n’est plus accessible. Si pour autant on fini quand meme le vol jusqu’à l’arret complet de l’appareil apres atterissage reussi, le temps de vol n’est pas comptabilisé dans le carnet de vol.

I wanted to try the slew mode after loading saved flight workaround today, but I am unable to enter slew mode at all? sure I have the Y assigned, but doesn’t work. Is that a brand new bug?
I find this error still on Xbox. How is this a bug after all this time? I can no longer do longer flights.
Not fixed as of 26th of June. Will uninstall until a fix arrives. What’s the point otherwise?
It may be helpful regarding the frustrations this issue induces to understand that Microsoft and Asobo are in the business of making money. Their priority is income. That’s why they focus on things that create new sales, not fixing bugs or improving usability. We users would hope they would focus on making us happy, but that does not produce income. The upcoming 2024 version (which won’t be free) is a good example.
Another issue regarding this particular thread/bug is the title of the thread. Forum moderators have combined several threads into this one, loosing detail and considerations along the line. The title of this thread makes it sound like there is an issue with weather settings. That is not the main crux of all the thoughtful postings in this thread. The real issue is that there is no way to save a flight “as is” and resume where you left off later. This was a much used feature of FSX that has never worked in MSFS. Perhaps if we offered to pay for a resolution we would get somewhere! Maybe we should create a GoFundMe account to be given to Asobo when the issue is resolved?

I am not allowed to say how long i have been raising these issuses seriously thinking of moving back to p3d with v6 about to release have not storage for both. For note flow paid version cures a lot of issuses around toolbar weather and payload staying in the air and reprogamming the fmc on anything other than the 737 remains abysmal.
Are you saying I need the paid version of this: //42 Flow Pro - Orbx to use the toolbar when loading a flight?
Yes the paid version will allow you to change date time weather missing from toolbar when loading a saved flight . Think you can change payload as well .if toolbar missi g does not bring back but can access certain things.

Thats the problem workarounds for missing basic functionality and bugs because this has been overlooked . To be fair there has been little drive from the community and asobo set there priorities accordingly .i am at the moment playing jedi survivor imagine the outcry if there was not a functioning save and restore feature there.takem 2 months so far to complete .
The real problem is that everything about the flight, including weather, is not saved and reloaded. One shouldn’t have to reset the weather after loading a saved flight. We need full functionality to “resume” a flight where we left off (saved it).
I have several times thought about creating a “wish list” posting for a fully functional save and resume capability, but I know the moderators would just move it to this thread. That’s the problem we are facing. This thread is about two bugs. Most of us want functionality beyond just fixing the two bugs indicated in the thread title.

Gents, I checked the Bug List of 19th October
Our previously listed request under position 19 is gone and I can not find our bug “Save / load a flight…” any more?!
Could someone explain this, please? For me this kind of process needs serious explanation and communication…
