Brief description of the issue:
When trying to start the High-Performance Take-Off Mission of the Top Gun Maverick Pack it says I need to install a âModellib Textureâ which is not owned and can not be found in the content manager. Saw some people reporting the same issue on reddit.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Iâm unable to reproduce this, the mission launches OK for me. Have you tried deleting the Maverick package from your Content Manager and re-install it?
I am on SU15 Beta, I wonder if that is why I cannot repro.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OPâs steps to reproduce it?
The Top Gun: Maverick packages were not installed on my PC, so i installed them. Attempting the activity brings me to a marketplace page (screenshot 1) where it has the Top Gun package visible. Clicking on it reveals its marketplace page with an error: âSome dependencies are missing or out of date : (ModelLib Textures not owned)â see screenshot 2.
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
I am on 1.36.2.0 retail (non beta)
I was accessing the activity from the main menu page on the revolving top left box.
Accessing the activities panel - Maverick activities - F/A018E Training will also yield a similar ModelLib Texture error (screenshot 3). Searching for modelLib in the content manager shows no item to install (screenshot 4)
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
Not the same issue, but it was caused by problems with the modellib-texture folder.
@TJTurner fixed that issue by removing the âasobo-modellib-textureâ directory and having the sim redownload it during start-up (scroll to the 2nd-from-last post)

No. Never. I just bought and dowloaded the game a couple of weeks ago.

Tried it just no but sadly no change to the issue.
Thanks for your feedback regarding this issue. Iâve had confirmation from Asobo that users experiencing this issue will need to delete KNFL - Naval Air Station Fallon, and then download it again for this issue to be fixed.
thanks. I deleted and redownloaded the airport as you described but the problem still remains with no changes.
Just to be on the safe side. I deleted the folder âasobo-airport-knfl-nas-fallonâ and when starting the game again it updated the missing files during the startup/update screen.
no. It did not fix it. Issue remains. I tried with deleting the folder via explorer and downloading it as update on startup. Also tried by deleting and downloading manually via the content manager.
The same with me.
Iâve uninstaled and re-instaled Maverick missions but the problem remains.

yes, I have the same problem described by [McSpain84]. I have also tried the solutions mentioned in this thread but still not working.
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
Operating System: Windows 10 with all updates available at May, 15th
Same MS Flight Simulator version described, 1.36.2.0
The only difference is that [McSpain84] has recently installed the game and I have had it installed since it was released. I hadnât entered the game in months but I had the Maverick package installed for a while although I had never tried it. After installing the most recent update to the game, I tried to play the Maverick tutorials and thatâs when I encountered the problem. It only gives the error in the takeoff lesson
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
I donât have additional screenshots but the ones I have obtained are the same as those shown in previous messages, but in Spanish

No

Unlike the OP, Iâm on SU v1.37.18.0. It looks like this bug only affects pilots on the current release build.

Reinstall âKNFL - Naval Air Station Fallonâ.
I donât think this alone can solve the problem.
We continue to use the latest beta build, but due to recent severe performance degradation of âSU15B v1.37.18.0â, we have gone through the deletion procedure below and are currently using the official release â1.36.2.0â.
Remove from Steam
Delete the entire âMicrosoftFlightSimulatorâ folder remaining in the installation path.
Reboot
Reinstall
There are no add-ons or third parties in use and it is in pure condition.
This track has already been mission accomplished since its release.
If the problem occurs even after completely uninstalling and reinstalling, there may be a problem with the files currently registered in the repository that users can downloadâŠ
