Wow, the attention to detail is incredible I cannot wait to get my hands on this beautiful aircraft! I just got way more excited than I already was haha

Will your team be adding the new Asobo G-Vapor vfx to the F-22?

We have previously developed visual effects including g vapor (3 different types on different areas of the model) Mach cone, and a number of others. These are still in beta and we will evaluate the new Asobo vfx files to determine whether any of these would be superior to what we’ve already got.

The news info on your site is great. I have been holding back flying to new places saving it for a new F-22. It is going to be a great VR ride. thanks.

The free version is already great to play with, can’t wait to get my hands on the premium one !

By the way, do you intend to put a table with specific keybindings in the user’s manual ? It can be kind of a pain to find out which button to map on hotas for specific plane functions and as a VR user, i’m willing to map a maximum of functions on the hotas

Thanks for the work so far :+1:

Wow just wow cant believe this is happening, Honestly all i have to say is just great job

One request here, when you guys do the checklist in the game could you make it with great detail like indifoxtecho does because i really hate just simply start checklist.Stuff like walkaround and before flight stuff would be great

hello i am a fairly new to this forum and i have a questino about your upcoming product. How accurate will your guyses flight model be of this aircraft?
More specifically will the handling and performance be as accurate as possible or is the main focus just making a fully accurate cockpit?

There are posts about this above in this thread. Take a scroll and you’ll find them.

I saw on your website that you will have a demo this weekend, may i ask were you will be holding this demo and what time?? via twitch, youtube im not sure.

Join us and whole lot of other great formation and demonstration participants this Sunday, May 22, for Wings over the Web. Our friend and supporter, Chunky, lead pilot and team leader for FS Thunderbirds, is going to be presenting a demonstration of the Raptor, performing most, if not all, of the real world Raptor demo routine. The official forum page for this event is below.

Event is on the official MSFS Twitch stream and starts at 4:30PM EST. Our Raptor will perform at approximately 6:25PM EST.

Full event schedule is available at the above forum link. Lots of really cool aircraft and formation teams will be performing.

IMO you guys got a bit screwed by that demo because the control surfaces didn’t actuate on the observer camera used in the stream, nor did the particle effects play on the high alpha stuff, e.g. low pressure fog (like illustrated on the images on the website).

Limitations of the sim, primarily. There are still problems with the game’s interpretation of level of detail (LOD) that caused issues for us with visual effects and flight controls animations. The alternative was to have an aircraft pop in and out of existence or “lose” parts during the flight. Similar problems occurred for many of the other show participants. Really is too bad, but we’ll hope that Asobo comes through on its planned updates to the LOD system coming soon. We’ll generate some more promo videos of the Raptor as we get closer to release to hi-lite some of the neat animations and visual effects.

Attention Raptor Fans! The Wings Over the Web Raptor demo on Sunday May 22, 2022 featured a demo flight of an early beta release of our F-22A Raptor premium model. In case you missed it, here’s a replay of the demonstration flight flown by Chunky, team leader for the FS Thunderbirds virtual demonstration team. He flew the complete demonstration flight itinerary used by the USAF. Some amazing high alpha maneuvers and great flying on display here and a showcase for some of the capabilities of our upcoming MSFS 2020 F-22A model.

Have you guys decided on your next aircraft yet?? If you have not i think a good aircraft to work on would be the f18 hornet or super hornet since there is really no good simulation of this airplane for msfs. It would be pretty easy since you could work off of the current Asobo f18
