True Multi Monitor Support in MSFS 2024?

You are absolutely sure you have no crashes if you only use one monitor? Please confirm that.

If so, then perhaps lower all the monitor resolutions, start with 1920 x 1080 on each monitor and test, if it’s stable …..then increase resolutions. Also rename the Community folder so there’s no add ons running when you test.

My PC is an I-9 CPU, 64gb ram and I have an RTX 4090 and I run 3 x 4k 41” TV’s at 3840 x 2160 with no issues.
Your system seems enough to run 3 monitors, just be sure that’s whats causing the crashes.

I don’t experience random CTDs with either single screen or VR. With triple screen, I can sometimes fly for an hour, but sometimes it crashes after 10 minutes.
When I use Nvidia surround instead of the MSFS triple-Split screen, the CTDs don’t occur.
I’ll try changing the DLSS version.
Thank you.

Good luck with it. Best approach is completely dumb down the sim performance wise, then test and adjust back up. Also test with Asobo default planes not 3rd party planes.

I’m not sure yet if the CTD issue with triple split monitors and DLSS FG has been resolved, but the FSR3 FG no longer crashes.
It seems that the cause of the FSR3 FG CTD was MSI Afterburner.
With the FSR3, frame generation works on all three screens, so it’s smooth.
The downside is that name labels are blurry, but that can’t be helped.

Watch out for any graphics mods.. I’ve had issues in the past with those. Always test “plain vanilla” and then add back in your addons etc.. Glad its better!

What I do

  • first calculate my field of view with an online FOV calculator for triple screens
  • setup the zoom using the developers mode –> aircraft–> camera blend according to the calculated FOV
  • the setup the triple screen vertical, horizontal en rotational aligment in msfs 2020 (because there the world doesnt blur when you enter the settings). I align my three montors visually such that all lines are correct.
  • Copy the settings to msfs 2024

we need to be able to setup zoom values for each screen separately! its not rocket science. xplane does, p3d does and every racing sim game does it!

FSR framegen works on all three monitors

Have you ever done graphical programming? I think rocket science is easier.
