speaking of two aircraft coming at once - FBW and iniBuilds are both producing an A380 for MSFS. iniBuilds seem to have kept very quiet on their progressā¦
Yes, they work just fine, but you canāt interact with the cockpit controls, so you have to use relevant key assignments instead. The gauges seemed to all do what they should during flight.
Ok I didnāt expect the cockpit buttons to work. No matter since the Spitfire and Hurricane are very basic aircraft anyway.
Does the Bf 109 also work well?
And: do they work in modern flight model or only in legacy?
I havenāt used legacy at all.
You may find that they are quite squirrely on the ground - but once they get airborne they settle down. IIRC the Spitfire has a glossy finish, too.
I assume that the 109 will work just as well (the Spit & Hurricane are from the older JF BoB releases).

Did you make any changes to the files, textures, file structure? Just bought the Hurricane from Just Flight, and Iām missing several textures (i.e. exhaust, wheels, propellers) and the instruments all look milky like they were covered steamed up glass. The cockpit glass also is not as clear as in your screenshot.
No I didnāt - everything went smoothly, there were no hiccups with the conversion at all.
Iāll go and do it again, just to double check.
edit: I just looked at my conversion notes - the only errors that came up during conversion were for the WEP and guns files - which I considered unimportant.
Nope - just did the conversion again and zero problems.
Iām converting the model from outside of FSX - I have the necessary files collected to a temp location. Also, I am using the old BoB Pack, which is from 2010 (the 50th anniversary one).
Many of the files are even older than that - but at least it is using dds textures. I canāt see an issue. All of the cockpit looks very good, including the gauges and glass.
That chrome one is the Spit that IWC restored and flew around the world. I saw it in person at Heathrow

Iām really lucky that I live near the BBMF in Lincolnshire, so I see the WWII birds regularly, both at the airfield and doing their practise displays.
Quite awesome.

Will the P-40 be released on the marketplace?
As soon as MS approves us, which at this point may be next year, lol.
