@A35Klove I would love to see KPRB, too. I almost bought their Focke Wulf / Piaggio P.149. I’ve often wondered what happened to it, if the people competing with me for it ever finished fixing it (it’s GO-480 needed a complete rebuild, worth more than the value of the plane. The dad of the guy who was going to buy it was an AMT, and I live in MA, coordinating getting it fixed if I bought it would have cost me a fortune. I still want one though).
Great airfield, especially with the museum and all, and good location to fly from.

Some preliminary work on KMCE…have included the new terminal that opened at MCE last fall, some famous buildings downtown, and the UC Merced campus (totally missing from MSFS).

I am ready to start compiling photos for KPRB. Is it possible to get front/back of major FBOs like Oasis, Del Rio, CHP etc….if you have airfield access that is?

I’m going to imagine there have been changes, but I have a bunch of photos around the museum at KPRB from 2020 if you’re interested. Of course @NixonRedgrave would be a better source since he lives there.
Museum photos will definitely help too, that area has an older ortho on available sat imagery.
More detail is always helpful! If you can just share somewhere, that would be great.

KAUN is very detailed and will take considerable time, but it’s going in my queue.
Currently researching to get started on KPRB and KUKI, possibly KSCK after that, as several people have requested it.

Happy to report the following:
KPRB development has resumed, thanks to photo resources from users right on this board.
While I was waiting for those resources, I have started a few other projects and obtained enough research for them. The following airports are currently under development as well:
KMAE (Madera)
KRIU (Rancho Murieta)
KOVE (Oroville)

A couple of preview snaps as development is progressing:
KRIU
In addition to the airport proper, several landmark buildings were seen on ortho but there was no autogen or strange autogen for them, so I have added them. Also added the old bridge on approach to runway 22.
KOVE
OVE is pretty large in area and it is taking awhile to deal with the airport perimeter. I have also included the many poles of the Northwest Lineman College across the street from the main FBO. Strangely no matter what time and setting I generate there doesn’t seem to be any AI aircraft here.

You are amazing. I cannot believe you keep generating these airports. KOVE was my second home for nearly 30 years. Lake Oroville, the dam and the after bay have remained a strong reference for my VFR flights.

Oroville is one of the few areas in the state I haven’t been to, but I have seen a lot of it from the air thanks to Blancolirio on YT…though he is based at KGOO.

Suggestion for RIU: I don’t know if you got it, but there’s a big building behind the airport that used to be the Rancho Murieta FSS building - supporting a large chunk of the state for decades prior to the move to the AFSS model. It’s used by a church now, but it still has historical significance.
Edit: never mind - you got Yellow Bridge, how awesome. I’m so excited for this!

I have already modeled the former FSS building, actually. They helped me out quite a bit back in the day. The autogen on that road behind the airport was nowhere close so I included that structure, the blue long storage building, and the small complex on the end. Also stuck in about 30x of the storage units where all the campers are parked too.

Oh, very cool, I’ll look for that! Yes, used to fly in to RIU regularly, visited the FSS in person several times (as well as calling them on the phone a lot). All the Gold Country airports are very familiar to me.
