And the latest to come under development is KJAQ. I found an old scenery for it that took care of the airport layout and parking, which are things that take a huge amount of time. My scenery will be on top of that, just replacing the buildings, features, and fencing.
Just wanted to share the current development situation, since KJAQ and KMAE got out this last weekend.
Currently in final testing and cleanup:
KOVE
Actively under development:
KGOO
KUKI
KHES
Cancelled:
KMOD (payware released)
KFCH (payware is making)
Awaiting further resources:
KNUQ
I think it’s still a good idea to release airports for which there are payware versions out there. Unless you feel bad for the author. I released KCON years ago as freeware, and a payware author released it a few months ago. I have no plan to take mine down.
If the freeware is any good, I’ll pick that up over payware.
Point taken, but it’s not that I feel bad for the author. I am in regular contact with some payware studios to find out what California projects they have up their sleeve. Basically I have always been a payware customer of the studios I like in regions where I usually fly, so I just don’t have motivation to work on airports if someone is putting out a version I will probably purchase. My aim with these projects is to cover gaps that aren’t really available at all, both for myself and others ![]()
I just can’t abide the overly simplistic and inaccurate default fields in places I am familiar with ![]()
Happy to report KOVE has been released!

As a follow up, what sort of images from Sunriver would you want if I can get some this week?
For a future update, it would be helpful to have any on the ground photos of smaller structures in the parking area behind the FBO and also the hangars along River Road. The Google street imagery is a couple years old with poor lighting.
Images from today! Might have a chance to get a few others, but with family in tow it’s a touch tricky.
Awesome work, thank you for sharing! Very clear with multiple angles.
Will definitely make use of them for a future update. Though one sad point - it seems they have paved over the grass patch fronting the FBO. What do you think, remove the landscaped frontage of the FBO in the scenery or leave it in…?
I’d remove the frontage just for accuracy but it is a bummer they paved over it! Also is this current version on flights.to?
When was the last time you wanted to mow your lawn or keep up your yard… ![]()
Not that I disagree that it was a nice touch.
Either that or somebody spilled avgas all over it…
A very quick and light scenery for O88 has been released, just came together over a couple of days after noticing a gap in MSFS20
