Hi! Couple of thoughts on this.
- I noticed that there was an update to the Xbox & Gaming services apps on my PC on 3/14, so if you have not checked recently, open up the MS Store App, click on the library icon & then Get Updates. Probably a good idea to ensure that Windows Updates are also current too.
Reboot & see if that works. - If you search on " Your game needs an update in:title" on these forums, the resultant list will give around 10 hits that might help with fixing your issue, including:
Stuck on "Your Game needs an update"
and
“Your game needs some updates” – persistent after re-installation
