You surly deserve it. It’s a great plane!

Congratulations! Very well deserved!

If interested this is the conclusion in magazine.

Really looking forward to the next update. Been flying this beauty around Iceland a lot recently and really enjoying it (and perfecting flight) so thank you!

Inbound soon.

Congrats! It is well deserved :+1:t4::blush:

Congratulations, well deserved. Had not thought of the Islander as the “Land Rover of the skies” but that makes it even better!

On flightsim.to or where do I get it? I have flown on that exact airplane many a time.

very nicely done. fully deserved, and what’s not mentioned there but SO important to the community is the level of developer support and continued willingness to take on suggestions and improve the product. Congrats G and team.

First of all i rearly saw a bad Score in PC-Pilot. All Aircraft they test seem to be good ones.
Of course the BN2 is a good one and the score is way to low.
Maybe the BN isn’t a study lvl Aircraft, but it is a aircraft that transports the feeling you have in the real one into the Sim. It is a real immersive Aircraft.
Also you can see the level of the Aircraft in the discussion here. For the most part it’s wether or not there should be an Copilot
No deal breaking pre or past SU5 problems.
And the best of all. i paid 25€ and got a nice plane and a really involved developer which is able to listen to the customers. And to a certain degree seem to like it and often post answers with a smile and a little irony. That alone is worth 100%.
For Example the Carenado WACO has 90%

There are a few of these great cats out here - Graham from BlackBox, Dean from DC Designs, Colin from MilViz… They are REALLY around and involved, always engaging. Randazzo is always around on PMDG’s forums and is the same way. That’s what I value - A LOT. Being able to talk to these cats and seeing the passion they put into their work. You can tell they care about this. This is worth more to me than some people putting something out and disappearing until they put something else out.

Just uploaded it, you can get it here, enjoy! :sunglasses:

Here’s an Islander I photographed back in 2007… One of my favourite planes!

Jim

YOU DA MAN!!! (And yes, Microsoft forum, that is a complete sentence and it is not unclear)

I found this in my YouTube list yesterday and it brought a smile to my face. Forget the passengers and their input, just watch and listen

As an aside, this is the first time ever that I have managed to copy a link from elsewhere am embed it into a post here. You have been warned.

Just flew on the BN2 from Vieques to Ceiba… It’s somehow even smaller and more cramped than I thought. It was a single pilot and he was a heavier dude… I don’t think you could even FIT a co-pilot next to him. I certainly was the only person sitting in the back per row with my 3 carry-ons…

It’s loud… and not very “refined”… BlackBox nailed the ambiance!

I think this has been reported before but just in case it hasn’t, switching between GPS, and VLOC does nothing to the VOR receiver, even though you can see the GPS indicator on the instrument turn off, and on. I’m deliberately to the right of the GPS track to illustrate.

dont worry .. All fixed in the Update when you get it

Try flying in it as a skydiver with no door then it’s really loud (and also cold when going to 10500 ft in England in winter with a full load of meatsacks)

Yeah, it’s tight in there. And loud.
