It’s a little tricky to go back, its in their own discord channel. You need to link to a PC. 1.3.3 works for me in xbox in beta. 3.0 did not, i downgraded for a few days until .3 came out. Dont think you should upgrade on SU9. I cant imagine being back in SU9, what a horror show.
Do you guys have any luck with stop freezing of VOF comands in flight after SU10.
I still have this annoying freezes every 3-4 minutes in flight that last for about 5 seconds and then get back to normal.
Turtle Beach support in not very useful. They dont even wont to give me a previus versions of firmware.
Ok, they now give me 1.1.0 so I downgraded firmware and now it works. They also told me that 1.4. firmware is in the developement that will fix this issue.

Been chomping at the bit for months over the TBVO and finally got it for my Series X.
I may be returning it.
Pros:
- The “feel” is great.
- You can customize every button, lever and switch to whatever you desire.
- I love the trigger rudder and bumper brakes on the yoke itself.
Cons:
- The “customization” process is an anxiety inducing nightmare.
- A bit pricey for being a “first” on Console.
Personally, at present, it isn’t for me. I’m still a “couch simmer”, I don’t have to means to utilize the yoke within the margins of comfortably. A nice ergo chair and a stand of some sort would help, but not much room for such things in my current living arrangement.
Trying to setup the controls was a hassle beyond belief. Trying to go through and set my own settings, “scan for input” in the Sim and the yoke would toss in multiple button mappings under ONE setting after pressing a single button.
I’d like to have one control scheme for everything at a basic level, as I don’t feel I need separate “profiles” for different aircraft types. There should be an option for “Community Profiles” in the Sim. Or it’s just my combination of frustration and laziness.
I don’t know. $400 seems a bit up there, especially when most of the time, autopilot works just fine. I’ve already got M&K, TM HOTAS One and an Xbox controller running on the Sim just fine.
I’ll fiddle around with it some more over the weekend, but I’m honestly a bit bummed.

No offence intended but you ordered it knowing it was expensive, desk mounted and you were a couch simmer?
Anyway, setting up the bindings can be pain, I have one for every plane I fly, 8 so far. Yes the VF1 does seem to spit out a random string of keypresses but mine only seems to do it once at the start of a mapping session, after that it usually works fine.
At base level yes you could easily have one profile for all single prop planes, one for twin prop/turbo and one for jet liners i guess.
Anyone have the recovery tool? I’m stuck in update mode after recently updating to the 1.3 firmware. App says Im up to date, UI on yoke says “Update Mode” regardless of which PC its plugged in to or how many times I restart the yoke or the PC.
Looks quite underwhelming, just like the Honeycomb joystick previews before it. Please use pincer style gimbal guys.
Is anyone else having a problem with the v1 on Xbox randomly having the control surfaces and trim not work? Everything will be working fine the. Mid flight all of a sudden I can’t control my plane anymore. I try to pause the game etc but I don’t know what is causing this? Or is this what you guys are meaning by “drop out”? Is it just the update that is making it happen?
I’ve been using the V1 with my Series X for about a month and haven’t experienced this. 
Really? I was just trying to do touch and gos within a pattern and 4 landings later I had to unplug my yoke 3 times and almost plummeted into the ground via my alerons decided they didn’t want to move in a left turn. And then on top of that every time I plugged it back in my trim wheel decided it was at some crazy setting and skyrocketed me in crazy directions.
Hmm that’s very odd. Are you using a USB extender or is the V1 connected directly to the Xbox?
Directly to the Xbox. And I’m using stock planes. I don’t have any add ons yet minus the free ones. But I haven’t used any of them yet.
This is a widely reported issue for PC and xbox caused by the 1.3.x firmware update. It affected me too after the “update” and I had to follow an involved process to downgrade to 1.1 on pc. Join/search this discord to find post from around Sept. 16th with links for PC and xbox.

Glad to know I’m not doing anything wrong. Are they planning on fixing this soon? I’ve heard Microsoft is pretty good with updating regularly. I’ll have to see if I can downgrade the update on Xbox. However, I have a hunch that’s not possible.
The problem is with the velocity one firmware (not related to MS) and the instructions list steps for xbox too so it should be possible (although it’s a bit complicated). The downgrade of firmware did fix the problem for me.
V1.3.3 is out that was supposed to fix this bug.
V1.4.0 was due end of Sept. but must be delayed. It’s the next major release.

Hello. I’m a neebie here. I finally have found a forum discussing the same issue I too have been struggling with. My planes become uncontrollable on landings because I have lost yoke control. Just to add to this conversation, I am running MSFS 2020 SU10 on an Xbox Series X and my V1 is up on 1.3.3. Even with the 1.3.3 update, I am still losing control of the yoke functions (ailerons & elevator) sporadically mostly on final (landings). The other buttons (Hat buttons, etc.) and throttle still work. It is only the yoke that seems to disengage itself on landings. But not all landings. Sometimes I can get a clean landing. And the choice of GA aircraft doesn’t play a part. I have had this happen on several different aircraft.
I think my TB V1 is almost cactus. I’ve had it since Feb this year, I use it a lot and I think its wearing out. I’m starting to get un-commanded button inputs, almost once a flight now. I’ve been saving up and I think i’ll take the plunge and order a Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo and bin this thing.
