Today I had my first ever WASm Crash in the SU4 Beta build .21. I never had a wasm crash in PMDG before in any other builds from SU4 Beta
Which PMDG aircraft?
I was getting them in .19 whenever I tried to select route after loading fuel and payload. PMDG 777.
I have tried flying it twice in .21. The first time, the MCDU was dead. It would come alive if I pressed the MENU button but die again as soon as I pressed anything. Second flight much better, no issues at all other than the usual awful stutters on descent and landing (an MSFS problem, not PMDG).
772 ER this time. Others had wasm issues with 77W LR
Title & tag updated to reflect the aircraft type.
Same issue +1
Hi folks,
When creating a new bug report, it is absolutely essential that you include as much information as possible. In particular, please include very detailed reproduction steps describing exactly what actions you took that triggered the bug (including things such as location/airport and the sequence of control inputs that led up to the bug). This is necessary so our dev and test teams can confirm the issue and troubleshoot/resolve it.
Thanks,
MSFS Team

Time was at morning before sunrise in KSFO
With the wasm crash nothing reacted anymore….no mouse inputs at any of the knobs or buttons possible. No thrust lever’s reacted, nothing. Not even possible to exit the game via escape and quit to desktop.
There are many wasm crashes since latest build .21. Sweet here too, not only in builds, also Fenix is mentioned in that thread.
Fully agree. The tinkering with WASM in these builds has broken a lot. This really needs to be a priority area for the dev team to deal with. SU 4 very clearly can’t be released in a state where many third party aircraft - including some that can be purchased on MP are broken or don’t even load.
I’ve had wasm crashes with PMDG 777-300 and PMDG 777 freighter and ini A350 in different SU4 beta versions but all of them were the very first loaded flight after beta update. Not yet had another wasm crash after recompiling wasm for each aircraft after the first load.
I have the issues even after clearing caches rolling caches and recompiling wasm….restarting the SIM….setup a flight fly….and crash….restart the SIM….etc.
knock of wood I have never had a WASM crash in any aircraft in MSFS 2024, including in SU4 (at least as of version .21). I did a 5 hour flight Sunday afternoon from EGLL to KBOS (at between 4X - 8X over the Atlantic) in the 772 without any problem.
.27 or .29 that was release today ?
i have had WASAM Crashes with various aircraft from the 777 to the E Jets by FSS Ifly 738 the default A333 default A321 Ini A340 ini A350.
its hard to give to provide ways to reproduce the issue as it is very random. there is no specific way to trigger the crash. it just happens
I had this problem since yesterday for 2 of my flights. The first one was around 6 hour long and the WASM crash happened after 4 hours. The second one was 8 hour long and the crash happened after 6 hours. It started to happen to me after 1.6.30.0 build. I never had problem with any of the PMDG 777s in the SU4 beta build before and now it happens twice in a row with this new build. Both crashes happened during cruise while there was no user input.
Plane: PMDG 777-300ER PC marketplace latest version.
