Went to Burning Man, with a flight out of Black Rock City Airport. It’s on my bucket list to fly in there for real, along with the Fisk approach into AirVenture.
Couple notes:
- I tried the Black Rock scenery on flightsim.to. It was neat to see the art installations, but the scenery obliterates the aerial imagery in the area including the runways and Black Rock City layout, so I actually switched back to the default.
- I was going to grab some screenshots of nearby Fly Geyser, but I used the wrong pause, my plane stalled and subsequently crashed after I returned from Active Pause. Whoops. The geyser itself is really small, and the surrounding aerial imagery isn’t the best, so kind of an underwhelming POI to be honest.
- Hands and feet of pilot still sticking out of this T-6 model despite the 4gb update to to the Reno/T-6 class lol.
